Does this fight really hurt Hattons stock?

Not to piss anyone off but Imo, it certainly does.. at least in the US and that's where he was hoping to cash in.. Not only did he arguably lose the fight, but it wasn't a very good one either..SO much clinching by both fighters, Hatton just constantly plowing forward and leaning in..Very little clean boxing at all, and some rabbit punching too.. The only exciting points in the fight were when Collazo was landing big shots on Hatton and that 12th round where he had him out.. I just think it really hurt Hatton because HBO was hoping to bring him in as this TV friendly warrior with a relentless attack, and tonight he was really just sloppy and never turned it up, let's face it.. He wasn't impressive, and the fight wasn't very exciting at all except when he was almost out at the end. Basically I think it's safe to say he didn't gain any new fans whatsoever, and that's pretty much what he was gunning for. His best chances are still to go for Gatti and COtto but I dont think this helps his chances.

I think it does.....How can you gain if you lose a fight.....Hatton had better stick to fighting in Europe because this fight was a gift. I cannot believe
the judges gave that fight to Hatton. I thought Collazo definitely beat him, he hurt him and hatton never..NEVER...hurt Collazo....hats of to Collazo the first man to wup Hatton.

Agreed, a guy like Mayweather would have a field day with Hatton.

Hatton stock should plumet after that performance, man did he look bad.

He looked bad...I don't really know...we all write a fighter off too quick.

What works against Collazo...or doesn't work for that matter...may or may not work on another fighter.

Hatton can bring some excitement to the game...but I think that a draw was more inline for tonight's match & I also think that Collazo deserves props for hanging in there.

Indeed, Collazo deserves his respect and Hatton hasn't fought a southpaw for over 4 years he said. Having said that, what concerns me about Hatton is the fact that he was rocked by puncher who is not at all known for his power. You can just imagine would the top guys at 147lbs would do Hatton who are MUCH more powerful then Collazo. This is what makes me beleive that Hatton has no business at 147lbs as the top guys at this weight are just too powerful for him.

Well isn't that the whole reason Hatton came to the US ??? So he could become a bigger star and demand more money in a showdown with Floyd? Im just saying it wouldn't be large because Floyd wouldn't accept anything but a certain percentage and the fight is worth even less now than it was before this fight, which is why this is a terrible backfire for Hatton, imo.

Why is it that when British fighters leave Warren they look ordinary soon after ;D

The sooner the better...but hatton should give Collazo a rematch first...that way Collazo can sent him home and we can get back to a PBF-ODLH fight!!!!

Can someone please tell me now, why the fuck didnt yous notice this in the first place vs tszyu? Why was I the only one to see this ? I was told i was being biased and that there was nothing in it....thats bullshit and hatton fans know it!

also did anyone notice almost everytime they clinched Hatton kept pushing Collazo's head down, I just know he lost he knows he lost we know he lost and if he fights any of the top fighter who are not fadding they will defenitly take him apart.
