I think Oscar won the 2nd and Shane was already on the slide thenQuote:

Agreed. That fight will go down in history as one of the biggest yanks of my time.Quote:

Oscar won that fight.
My question is, how often does the fighter himself have anything to do with the decision being 'bought'?
Probably never.Quote:

That's all probably promoters, judges, & what not that push that deal...also...the fighter that takes a dive.
But I doubt Mosley knew that the fight was a fix...& I will to this day believe that it was.
I saw it live & @ home...everyone that I watched it with felt the same way. I really didn't give a fwock while I was there...I was just enjoying myself...but when they gave the call...I was a bit pissed.
no doubt dlh won that fight --- my feeling and my question to you guys is--if they met again do u feel dlh could whip him or knock him TFO---i think he would give him a good beating
Doubt it. Shane has Oscar's number in more ways than one IWO.Quote:

I thought ODH won the 2nd fight as well...and I'd pick him for a late round TKO if the two were to lace them up again. Both of their fights were competitive and although Oscar is probably not the same fighter he was he is still pretty close, and I feel Shane is far from the class he was that night.
Oscar won and maybe wins a sd isf they fight again, but it wont happen.
I thought Mosley won the rematch and still think it.
I don't think that there will ever be a 3rd fight.
I agree. I had Mosley winning (winning a $750 bet has nothing to do with it) as well. And third fight will never happen.Quote:

It would be ODLH's march to ultimate glory...first "Sugar" Shane then TITO...avenge his true losses...Hopkins fight should not have happened, He gave up too much....size and power...Quote:

Yeh, it would probably be more interesting to watch one of them batter Tito ;DQuote:

Would you rather see ODLH-Trinidad II and see Oscar win for the 2nd time? I'd love to see this fight but Trinidad is probably enjoying life and eating lobsters as appetizers...don't blame him.Quote:

I thought Shane won the second, but a draw would have been fine. I don't like either guy much but I thought Shane landed the much harder cleaner punches, and Oscar didn't land nearly as much as Lampley said he did. Lot of flashy flurries that came close to landing but didn't actually land. I don't know who I'd pick in a third fight, it would be close either way.
I keep reading how so many people believe Oscar won the second fight, and I agree. But what I don't see people writing is how Shane clearly beat him in the first fight. I scored the fight 8 rounds to 4 as Shane dominated the last 6 rounds. I heard Oscar on Fox Sports saying how the first fight could have went either way which is a complete lie. The fight was not close but the second was. Shane is the better boxer even though he was never the same after the headbutt against Forrest.
Although Oscar won that second fight clearly IMO, he wasnt able to do what he does best and stalk the man in front of him. He had to use his legs more than he had in any other fight. Im not so sure that at his age now he can fight that kind of fight. I probably go with Shane in a rematch, but i dont really care to see this fight
Even this late in their career's I believe it would be a terrific fight.
We watch so many crap boxers and mismatches week in week out and yet when we talk about two future hall of fame's who had two exciting close fights against each other and have both pulled out great PPV wins in their last fights yet some of you believe it would be boring? go figure...
There is no chance of it happening anyway, not now that they are business partners.
If Vargas stops Mosely and Taylor stops Wright there is more chance of a rematch between Nando and ODH... rumour has it Oscar's last fight will be pushed back to November anyway so that gives Vargas plenty of time to rest and prepare.
Fwock Floyd he doesn't deserve the payday... the best he fought at 140 was Gatti!! the best he fought at 147 was Judah!! (who lost his belts) do you see the pattern? all he does is chase big names not the best opponents.
If Winky beats Jermain then hopefully he will get the opportunity to cash in but I doubt it.
Oscar's style just doesn't match up well against Shane's. Shane would just throw so many more punches, he would outpoint him and win again by decision, even if they had 100 rematches. BORING!!! Just like Mosley's style doesn't match up well against Forrest or Wright because they have much better defenses. Mosley also doesn't have the power to KO any of those guys.
