Naz tests positive for drugs?

According to a report out by Tom Carlin in people.co.uk: SHAMED boxer Naseem Hamed has tested positive for cannabis (Marijuana) behind bars.

Carlin reports that Traces of drugs were found in his system during a routine drugs test as Naseem Hamed began a 15-month jail term last week. It is not known if drugs was in Nas's system before he entered jail.

An interesting point that Tom Carlin in his report hits on is this failed drug test makes a mockery of Hamed's boast: "I will never fail a drugs test. You can bank on that 100 per cent." Carlin added: The positive test could land him with a longer stretch in prison.

Hamed was jailed last week for 15 months for nearly killing the driver of the Volkswagen when his Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren sports car crashed head on in a 90mph accident.


A prison source was quoted in Tom Carlin's people.co.uk reporti saying: "This goes against all his beliefs and everything he preaches. He is terrified his fans will get to hear about it. Nas is a shell of the man who was champion of the world and this shows how low he has sunk."

Naseem's brother Murad, 27, came to the defense of his brother saying: "As we all know you can inhale smoke without smoking. Nas as we know doesn't entertain cannabis or alcohol. But we were playing snooker a few days before the court case and some people were smoking cannabis around him."

No, if he was really hanging around a room of cannibus smokers and he did indeed breathe it in, then they would find traces in his body. I don't think he smokes really though. I think what Murad said is true, but I also think the press is going to make a mountain out of this molehill.

Bullshit!! Thats the oldest old wifes tale in the book, passive smoke my arse i would put the mortgage on it being true, the guy is a let down, a loser, what happened to the i want to the greatest ever?? He was ahnded a defeat when he thought he was unbeatable and couldnt deal with it, the guy is a prick did the incident where he left a man to die prove he is a pricxk and always has been?


Obviously there is no hard evidence at this point in time but i am very very confident he smokes that stuff.

They reackon a smoker only actually inhales 15% of the poisons and the rest is left for the passive smokers (tight a$$ buy ur own smokes, only joking). Not sure how much of this is true but its was in some article. ;)

nah, you don't absorb as much from passive smoking, they may exhale 75% of the crap but that doesn't mean that a passive smoker will inhale 75% of the crap.

A smoker holds it in their lungs, a passive smoker doesn't and the amount of crap is less concentrated. I'd guess if a smoker inhales about 15% you would probably inhale about a third of what they intake.

Which is still bullshit... as for it showing up on a scan... the only way it would from passive smoking after a week is if he was in a hotbox or something... :P

Thats a load of BS mate, i have quite a few freinds who are heavy smokers, at least two joints a day, and a mate who is not a smoker works the JCB'S for the railway, he must go round to the hardened smokers house once twice a week while there is 3/4 guys smoking in a room for at least an hour, he has been tested a couple of times by his employer and both times negative, i think you can inhale it as passive smoker dont get me wrong but 85% not a chance if that was the case it would of been posotive no doubt.

I reckon Naz tested positive for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts same as James Toney....it's a shame those have been banned by so many places now.
