Who would win this thrilling matchup?
I would loooove to see this as Pacman would play into Juarez strenghts and vice versa. To be honest,I don't see anyone standing toe to toe with Pacman and winning but Juarez has such heavy hands, maybe he could dent Manny? I mean he was chasing MAB for the whole fight, his amount of ounches thrown and landed was not great but did you see MAB's face?! I'd go for Pac but depends how well he could take Juarez power and I don't know much about Juarez chin and if you don't have a chin, don't get in the ring with pacman!
I think Juarez has a good defence and quick hands, but I did notice he dosen't like when he is being pressed like when barrera would come forward and throw all kinds of shots rocky would just huddle up and wait for him to stop throwing and pac rarely stops throwing, but pac's defence is his offence he throws alot of punches and keeps others from throwing back and Juarez could land some good shots when pac comes in. One of these guys would need to fight going backwards, or we would end up with a phone booth brawl!! that would be something to watch .
That was one of Rocky's toughest fights, and he really didn't care for the pressure MAB put on him which is only half of what pac would do. Truthfully don't wanna see it, I like Juarez and know he'll crumble under Manny :(
Well, we're definitely not going to see Manny boxing Rocky like MAB did. The pressure would definitely bother Juarez, but it might also play into his hands a bit. I have a feeling Juarez could damage Manny. I have a feeling Manny would eventually make him crumble (though I've never seen Juarez close to crumbling), but there's always a chance Manny couldn't take his power as well. I'd love to see it.
Rocky is absoulety made for Pacman, he's shorter, can't box and really only knows how to fight one way. Manny would land the left hand 3 times to every left hook that Rocky lands.
Manny is too fast, too explosive and basically too much.
I'd love to see this, I think this fight is doable. I mean both fighters still young and have at least 3 or 4 good years left. They would meet down the road and it would be fireworks. If they fight now I ain't giving Rocky a chance, but after 2 or 3 years who knows. Their styles may change a little bit.
But one thing I also like to note; Rocky would not beat EM.
would this not be a good match up then. Both men coming off a loss to big fights and looking to get everything back on track again.......but surely if morales lost that would be the endQuote:

True, that if EM lost against Rocky it would definitely end his career. Let us presume Pac beats EM in their rubber match, EM can still go, move on, get big fights with other contenders, but a another loss would mean retirement. But I think he can handle Rocky's power and style. MAB felt the power I'm not sure EM would let him do that.Quote:

interesting fight then let Humberto Soto or Juan Marquez go up and fight the winner and probably win.
On the contrary, mate. EM is finished, shot, washed up. He shouldn't be getting back in the ring with Manny or anyone else that can hit like that. He's a worse boxer than MAB and still relies more on his brawling; younger stronger boxers will make him pay for his non-defensive style. Not saying he wouldn't have thrashed Rocky in his prime, but his prime is well past.Quote:

I think Juarez just caught Barrera in one of his "off-nights" and an aging one at that (no offense intended), and so I think it's premature to pit him against the tested Pacman at this time. Remember, Pacman loves hitting charging-sluggers like Juarez coz it perfectly matches his style, and if Juarez did that to him as he did to Barrera, he'd be out sooner of later. Skill-wise, I think he is just above Hector Velazquez whom he beat by UD and whom Pacman KO'ed in the 6th. Velazquez was quite tough against Pacman but he just got himself hit too much trying to outpunch Pacman and I think it'll be much the same story with Juarez, unless, of course, if he changes his style. But I doubt he'll do that just seeing him showing no respect for Barrera - a slugger is usually always a slugger coz he usually doesn't know any other way, just like Pacman. I think Barrios will be the more competitive and exciting opponent for Pacman. But I think it's not a bad idea to let Pacman fight Juarez first before Barrios.
i'm not. ;DQuote:

Tough-chinned Hector Velazquez lasted full 12 rounds with Juarez, but he lasted only 6 rounds with Pacman.Quote:

IWO...Juarez couldn't handle the pressure that Pac dishes out.
I was a bit let down by his lack of control over Barrera.
thanks bro, cc back at ya!!! been busy trying to find a better job :)Quote:
