Does Miranda have a week chin?
I keep hearing how people question Pantera's chin because he did a little dance after Eastman rocked him the the 6th.
What is a definition of a weak chin?
The way I see it is after he got dazed he came back strong and KO'd Eastman 2 minutes later. Would you not call this a strong chin? Able to take such a clean hit in the temple, shake it off quickly and win the fight.
If anything people should be asking WHY he was open to take such a punch. He may need to improve his defense, but that has nothing to do with his chin.

It's not like Eastman is feather fisted either. I thought Miranda showed good heart and spirit to come back and stop Eastman, especially after a temple shot. Those shots are the hardest to shake off!

He is another American based boxer with a china chin. Just look at Allan Green and this hyped Yusaf Mack.
Did you guys know that Syd Vanderpool was knocked out by Alejandro Berrio (the journeyman who stopped hyped Mack) and was uncounious for 10 minutes - Lacy was not even able to knock him down....
Alejandro Berrio was stopped first time he met a top 25 European boxer in feather fisted Robert Stieglitz.....

He did display his heart cuz it was a tough fight and instead of covering up he fought back well .
I dont think he has a weak chin but its the fact that he is open to these shots thats worrying . His legs were very shakey so you wouldnt fancy him against a puncher

It's a bit to early to say that Miranda has a china chin.
He did damned well at taking Eastman's shots...I was impressed.

Its always related to Kessler in some way (though usually he isn't mentioned... its usually Lacy bashing so that Joe Calzaghe doesn't seem to good for Kessler... ;))

He is a Colombian who lives and trains in Puerto Rico. He has only come to America to fight his past few fights.

Miranda's Columbian. And you say American based Super Middleweight on up sucks? I guess its a good thing that Miranda is a Middleweight, and he isn't american.

But typical eastman did it his way, lying on the ropes trying to let Miranda expend energy and playing possum very badly.
Eastman is a gifted fighter, but has not took his career seriously enough for me.
Miranda seen his chance and took it and deserves respect - but i feel that if the 100% focused Eastman had turned up it may have took a different turn.
Miranda, Sturm and Abrahams are all on a level now to do battle for the Winky Vs Taylor outcome.
The Sturm / Abraham fight will be a big fight domestically in Germany and one worth tuning in for.

lol i know a very slick evasive boxer who happens to hit like a truck according to his 89% KO ratio out of his 27 fights....hes also NABF champion at 160
i think someone like that would KO someone who has ANYTYPE of a defense problem or even a hint of a weak chin ;D
