In the uk it's the MMR, but I expect Typhoid and Malaria vaccines abroad save more lives.
Holmes i reckon, he had a great jab.

currently, ive got to agree with killer, winkys jab is prob the best is the business at the moment. Of all time ive got to say hearns or ali surprised he hasnt bene mentioned more times?
Without a doubt!!! Larry "THE EASTON ASSASIN" Holmes, he ruled the heavyweight division for 71/2 yrs with it, and he did'nt use it as a range finder, it was a viper-fast punishing weapon.
Holmes, Ali, and Hearns all had great jabs. Some of the best of all times. I'd have to give props to Winky as of late too. One fighter who has a great effective jab, but isn't mentioned that much, who I feel should be on the list is MAB. His jab has won him alot of close fights.
haha thats pure comedy. Cool click mate ;DQuote:

I would say Larry Holmes, Winky, Hearns and Hattons isn't bad at all.
I know MAB's jab isn't as powerful as the people you mentioned, but what do you think about his jab? It's been very effective. I'd say that is the reason he beat Morrales in #2{even though I think Erik was robbed}, and that's the reason he beat Juarez. It's effective differently than the other guys, but when MAB is using the jab, he's very effective. The only fights he hasn't used it alot was his last 2 losses, PAC, and Morrales 1. What do you think Mick?Quote:

Something like what George did with Michael in their bout using the jab as a set up.
:coolclick: For the comparison. George used it defensively. I guess the reason I put MAB on here is because he uses the jab defensively, to set up some combos, and to bust opponents up, as well as effect their vision. MAB is very versatile with his jab, that's all.Quote:

And while I'm at it, Morrales did knock MAB down with a body shot in that fight. The ref said he stepped on his foot, but I saw the replay. Clean shot.Quote:

Mundine will be KO next time he meet Kessler
sonny liston had a fantastic jab.
Holmes for sure in both power and technique....Forman probable had the hardest....and don't forget how good Buster Douglas's was when he was in shape....Quote:

Hearns jab was stinging!!! :o
Before his opponents realised they had been hit, he would have hit them again!!! 8)
Sonny Liston, punishing!
Vitali Klitscko, KO'd some people with just the jab
Wlad Klitschko, can get threw ANY defense with that jab
Lennox Lewis, DOMINATING!
Bernard Hopkins, tactical
Jermain Taylor,
Winky Wright, perfect
Felix Sturm
Tommy Hearns
Ray Leonard
Larry Holmes
Muhamed Ali, quickest ever thrown by a heavyweight, (looked like a girl threw it though...spaghetti armed jab)
I would have to say Foreman especially during his comeback
I think that Wlad has the best heavy jab I have seen....
Of the few Holmes fights I have seen his jab looked good as well.
BUT Lewis had a pawing jab. That thing didn't have power on it. Not one of the best.
The thing with Wlad is he hooks off the jab better than anyone I've ever seen...I know Ali used to hook off his jab but it's not the same, his hook was more of a swat whereas Wlad has a Joe Frazier left hook with a Sonny Liston jab
Holmes,Ali and Oscar DeLaHoya.
Willie Pep, Winky
Thomas Hearns
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Lennox Lewis
Joe Louis
Sugar Ray Robinson
Holmes
Winky Wright
Ali
Ray Leonard at times.

very rarely if ever leads of with a right hand lead, it is always left jab followed by something.
kesslers jab is better than sturms because kessler has a wide leg stance and leans forward into the jab , putting full power behind it, whereas sturm uses it to score but not to hurt
Had Sturm had Kessler's jab, DLH wouldn't have lasted to get the gift decision
larry holmes--lightning fast and accurate
