Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
Who would give most trouble to Valuev and beat him from todays heavyweights ? ? ?
How we see Valuev fight only 2 A Level boxer and got trouble by Larry Donald and John Ruiz and beat them my MD . . .
All other boxers who Valuev face and beat like Ettienne,Levin,Nobles,Vidoz and now Beck was all B and C class fighters . . .
But we saw that Valuev is can give to everybody trouble with his size and great condition . . .
I cant see many boxers who can give trouble to Valuev or beat him but Samuel Peter,Wladimir Klitschko,Hasim Rahman and maybe the old tall Nigerian Henry Akinwande would of the few boxers from today who would give troble to him . . .

Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
Any fighter who likes to fight in close will be trouble for him cos then you are negating his major advantage, reach. this is as he does not seem to take advantage of his weight.

But Valuev would not let anyone to fight in close . . . David Tua or Samuel Peter got maybe the great KO power but even they are too small for him and Valuev's condition is great and his chin seems to be good 2 . . .

Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
One of the best and most skilled fighters in the heavyweights is Serguei Lyakhovich no doubt in my mind if he hit Valuev with one of those body shots then a fast uppercut its over he is very good so he would give valuev a hard time.

Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
no question........wlad. could reach his chin and is way to fast. nick is to slow to hit even a tired wlad. (god i wish VK was still around!)

Dunno he takes this decision but looks suspect. A bigger hitter in a longer fight may put him to bed

Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
Anyone with head movement will give him trouble
Anyone with power will give him trouble
Any BOXERS will give him trouble
Anyone who can take a punch will give him trouble
If Donald and Ruiz can fight him so close IN GERMANY then a guy like Wlad would have NO TROUBLE whipping that bastard

Yes that true that betwenn Wladimir and Valuev is not much height size but there is still a big weight different like about 30-40 kilos (80-90 pounds) and thats would effect much to make Wladimir tired in late rounds and should happen a late TKO (u know Wladimir dont have good chin and all . . .)
Oh yes Vitaly would be much dangeous then Wladimir because Vitaly got good chin too and more powerfull punches . . .
-
Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
Hey Valeuv, is good no doubt but he has fought small guys, and with his size VERY EASY
Beck was rubbish on the night, no doubt Rahman would hurt and slow down, Valeuv, Toney would outskill him, Lyachovic would do as exactly as someone said here, and so would Klithcsko.
But i am from the UK, and i goto support my friend, say whatever u guys want, but if Danny Williams, can get a shot with Valuev, whoooo hooo, expect fireworks. It would be a tough fight, one i reckon williams, would pull through victorious,
Hey am i the only one, who thinks, if u just stay away from valuev, let him run to, you, and just keep on moving on those feet, He will get tired down, and get lazy like he did on several occasions with Ruiz, well i was shouting at Beck to do that, i really wanted the fight to go further
anyway just my 2 cents

True, but it does show with the right amount of shots he could go. You can't really train your chin. (As far as I am aware, correct me if I am wrong)

Listen here PRINCESS, Wlad would beat the shit outta that bear anyday of the week!
Has Valuev fought a puncher?
Has Valuev been "tested"?
Has Valuev been caught on the chin?
Has Valuev been in with a good boxer? (yes and he damn near lost IN GERMANY!)
One thing IS FOR DAMN SURE! He won't get a gift decision in Germany over Wlad!!!
Watch this clip and at 1 minute and 4 seconds just imagine if that right cross is from Wladimir Klitschko!

But from todays boxer nobody have a good head movement, foot work and powerfull punch in the same time . . .
Even i cant see Byrd beating valuev because his size and weight and good condition would crush Byrd and make him very tired and then in late rounds Valuev would out box him or even make a TKO...
Donald and Ruiz was the only A class boxers who Valuev faced and they fight really head to head VS Valuev and never get a knock down...
Henry Akinwande would be interesting hehehe but his really old with 40-41 now . . . But a 30-35 years old Henry would give much trouble to him... With the stranger boxing style... ::**

Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
That guy couldn't puch for shit... his legs weren't anchored to the floor in the slightest... You can sort of improve your chin... a better conditioned athlete will recover better from shots (its all o do with the central nervous system ;))
-
Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
EARTH TO DUMB ASS!!!
Neither Ruiz or Donald are power punchers....Wlad is, and Wlad can also box better than either of those guys.
Chris Byrd can be a REALLY tough fight for Valuev. Chris has a great chin and although his defense has slipped he could still school Valuev and his quick punches could win him rounds.
Sam Peter and Lamon Brewster hit too hard for Valuev and Don King knows it!

Hey Clown ! ! !
Yes ur maybe right that Valuev never fought a powerfull puncher but Chris Byrd never did it too where he was a Champ (Yes Byrd fought only 1 powerfull puncher and it was Wladimir and lost to him). . .
Yes Valuev is tested enough to be champ now and he fought with 2 or 3 good boxers like Donald,Ruiz and maybe Vidoz 2 . . .
Hmmmm i am not sure that Valuev will not become the gift decision because Valuev is the champ and he will be in front of cards...
And yes i watched the Otis video and who is Otis pls ? ? ? And if it was Wladimir righ cross then i dont know exactly what would happen because i never see Valuev's chin tested from a hard puncher . . .
But we saw all that Peter got a very great chin and never down VS from Wladimir punches and i guess that valuev got a good chin too and would not down VS Wladimir so easly ! ! !

peter and lamon have a chance (a slim one). just to short. byrd? no way. he has no power and he really isnt all that slick anymore. if nick were to watch the wlad fight a few times and try that style, byrd would have the same result....beat down. (not that nick is all that good (or even close to great))

 Lamon Brewster hit hard who got whpped ass from Ettienne by a easy UD and Ettienne who lost easly by TKO in round 3 VS Valuev . . . ;)

Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
Jax, you're a fuckin moron
Brewster hurt his knee in the Ettiene fight, he took Wlad's shots, you saying Wlad can't punch or that Ettiene was a better puncher than him?
-
Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
Byrd would beat Valuev. valuev aint fast enough to catch him.

Take Care at ur dirty words first ! ! ! >:mad
Ettienne beat clearly Brewster by UD and dont search any other reasons for Brewster goodness . . .
Brewster took Wladimir shots ? ? ? Brewster down badly at 4 and never go in the distance VS Wladimir . . . We saw all that Brewster getting tired after 9. or 10. round and Valuev got a very big condition and he would out box a tired Brewster easly and TKO him . . .
-

Valuev can outbox someone ???

I have a name for you DAVID TUA...yeah that's right Chris Byrd beat him...unlike Hasim Rahman....Rahman lost to Tua TWICE
Valuev hasn't even fought the best fighters in Europe and infact it would be up for debate if he's actually fought a guy better than Audley Harrison!
Yeah "Valuev's chin hasn't been tested by a hard puncher" but if Tisdale can stun him like that Wlad might kill him!
What does Peter's chin have to do with Valuev's chin? They haven't fought each other!
fucker!

What's this rubbish about fighting in Germany got anything to do with it. Considering the size of Russia as a country, then he could actually be forced to travel further from his home town over to some parts of Germany than some American opponents going to Germany.
I don't think judges will be giving easy decisions to him in Germany, that's just where the promoter is, and that's where they do most of their work. Anyway, if the challenger is of any class, and Valuev is as bad as you say he is, then all the other guy has to do is turn up and wait for Valuev to topple over
-
Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
So Jax let me get this straight, Rahman had an off night vs Ruiz but Brewster couldn't have an off night vs Ettiene?
Also I agree that Brewster wouldn't go the distance vs Wlad but the fact he was able to get up from that knockdown is proof that his chin is good enough
Valuev lives in Germany and much like Ruiz got gift decisions here in the US Valuev gets them in Germany...things don't work the same way everywhere

David Tua is great powerfull boxer and i like him alot and wish him as champ but his really too short for Valuev and valuev would hold him in the distance and play with him and the result would be like at Lewis fight a clear UD ! ! !
Valuev dont fight the best fighters at Europe ? ? ? I beat exactl the actual Europe Champ Vidoz ! ! !
Valuev fought better boxers then Audley and it was Donald and Ruiz ! ! !
U damn street biyitch ! ! ! I mean that Peter chin was good enough and he never down VS Wladimir and i am sure that Valuev got a good chin too like Peter or even better 1 and would never down so easly ! ! !

starr? you did see the wlad vs byrd 2 fight? nick trys that plan (he couldnt do it well) yet he most likely would end up with the same result. byrd bleeding like a stuck pig.

Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
In that case may I invite both of them over to Wales for an absolutely independent venue, that you won't see the likes of in boxing elsewhere, and that's the Millenium stadium. If it could be made as a headline, with maybe a Welsh champ on the undercard to bring in the local punters like me, then that wold be amazing. Not that I want more big fight boxing over here or anything! :p

Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
since he's so big, the opponent should be smart and make Valeuv chase him tiring him out...
He's a big guy with so much weight, it can be made into a disadvantage.
Abit like what Holyfield did to Bowe in their rematch

im sure nick isnt in the buisness of chasing anyone. someone will clue him into the fact that he shouldnt and dosent need to do that.

Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
Valuev doesn't have to run far, he's 7'0 tall....he's got a long reach.
Guys will tire Valuev out by making him take punches and making him throw punches

Dude Lyle i am sure soon ur young boxers who u said u bet all ur money to Chambers and Champman they will be destroyed soon badly . . . :beat:
And Valuev would take them both as a breakfast . . . ;)

I think you're on to something here....it needs to be someone almost as big.....but faster and a better boxer....Wlad fits all those....call me crazy but a motivated Tyson could chop him down.....
-
Re: Who would be the dangerous rival for WBA Champ Valuev ? ? ?
i think vlad is the only fella in the heavyies who could take him. but as daft as it may sound, a pressure fighter like matt skelton who has good stamina and keeps coming forward would have a good chance at chopping him down aswell. but that fight would never get made.

Since when am I a Chapman fan? I like Chambers, he's smaller and I would bet he'd do well vs Valuev. Witherspoon too.
They would do better than Sinan Samil Sam...you haven't talked a lot about that bum in a while Jax....fall off the bandwagon???
