Jeff "Left Hook" Lacy has announced his comeback but don't be fooled. He will not be returning against top contenders.(Kessler, Beyer, Mundine) He will more then likely choose a fringe contender to sharpen his skills and shake off the ring rust. He has also announced that after the beaten he took form Joe "The Pride of Wales" Calzaghe that he will bring some new equipment in the ring with him... See it exclusivly here.

I hope he can return into the form he was prior to the Joe fight. Not many boxers take a beating like that and are the same again (Reid, Vargas, Taylor, Mayorga) but I am glad to see that he is dedicated and want's to make a comeback.

Lacy will be better or worse in his next fight. All I know is that he better not fight Mundine because even if he somehow won it would be a SD and he wouldn't look good ;)

i believe he will be tentative on his return fight but not worse... I think his camp will be more careful now that he has been broken down. It will definitly be interesting... He won't fight Mundine. That would be a mistake. They won't throw him to the wolves that early...Ya know?...

anybody that thinks Lacy is damaged goods is an idiot. He lost one fight. What would leave u to believe that... "his spirits broken, his heart is broken...he's a broken fighter" SAYS WHO?!?! Not lacy and not me... Calzaghe was way too much for him and Lacy thought he was gonna role over him. He was wrong but he's not damaged goods... Trust me

He would be a fool if he didn't get his spirit broken. And its better for him to get his spirit broken. It's better for him to know he aint invincible rather then still think he is. He felt he didn't have to listen to Dan and that he could just knockout Calzaghe easy, he felt he was good enough for that, he isn't and he wasn't and his spirit was broken. Best thing for him. Now its time to see if he can rework the wheel.. or dwell on his broken spirit and never get his confidence back again.

Well its good he got his spirit broken. I mean NOT listening to his trainer against Joe Calzaghe has got to be one of the most (insert insult here) things I have ever seen. I'm glad his ego got shattered, its better he stops relying on his power rather then it not become fixable.. its still fixable its up to him to listen though and given how badly he was getting beaten why he didn't listen and still went out there looking for one shot his own thing is beyond me.

If he never accepts the way things are, he will never change and physcologically move on..
But i agree on the fact that whenever he fights, the memory of the beating he took will always be on the back of his mind.
