Delahoya-Vargas,

the only other match in recent times which got me pumped for the fight was Barrera-Morales II, just because of their hatred for each other and from what transpired in their press conference.

I think the key ingredients to a great rivalry is two world class fighters, in their prime, who have nothing but contempt for each other. These two fights satisfy the criteria perfectly.

Mayweather Sr. - Mayweather Jr.

That was a horrible comment. I am not going to SC because I disagree, that would be weak. I come to this site to debate because it helps me learn more, but respect and liking somebody are two seperate thing's, everybody I listed up top respect's one another they just don't like each other. I am sure you have ran into somebody you respect but do not like. Learn the difference

I think he might be referring to ODLH's legacy and how ODLH wants to go out as a legend....I know I would want to avenge any loss I had so I could go out with a clean slate and no "but" or "what about" or "Ifs" included...

i understand your comment but boxing is not all about hate. respect plays a big part, i liked the dlh-mosley series beacuse they were friends and there was no hate but they were able to put on a great show. touching gloves at the start of every round was nicefor a change . mosley and dlh are great for boxing and have great sportsmenship. bad blood is great for a rivalry but is not always nessary thats MO i know the difference there jr.
