Long live Bernard Hopkins!
What a great performance! Not since the Tito fight and possibly the Joppy fight, had I seen Bernard dominated and beat down a man so throughly. And it could not have happened to a bigger jerk than Tarver. Hopkins made history, what a warrior. Gotta give it up for B-hop people. Everyone doubted him, except him himself. After that domination I think for one last time Bernard deserves to be called the greatest Pound for Pound fighter in the world. :appl: :clap:

I don't know. But I'll tell you where he should be, #1. Forget lil Floyd for the moment, it's Bernard's time. Floyd recently won a close fight against Zab Judah, but Bernard at 41, jumped up 15 pounds and dominated the best LH in the world. Hopkins is THE MAN!

And I think he should be P4P the best one last time. Many of us feel he didn't lose to Jermain Taylor and should have never lost his belts or #1 P4P status either.

Well I've never argued a case for Calzaghe to be p4p in the top 5 let alone number 1 so I don't see what he has to do with it.
The first Taylor fight, it's a mathematical impossibility for Hopkins to have won seeing as he lost the first 6 rounds without question.
His punchstats were 14 punches or less landed in each of the first 6 rounds, and as we all know unless there are knockdowns it is impossible for a fighter to win a fight if he has lost half of the rounds.
The second fight was more comfortable if anything for Jermain Taylor. 3 judges gave to him by 115-113 and that is after the previous seemingly controversial fight where the loser nearly always gets a more favourable score in the rematch, Castillo against Mayweather being just one example.
Hopkins lost, get over it.

I don't think B-HOP lost all of the first 6 rds...I had 1 of those rds for him and another rd was a 10-10 rd....B-HOP won the first fight..... shouldn't have been a second fight...

Hopkins/Taylor 1 decision was questionable
Hopkins/Taylor 2 decision was truth
Hopkins/Tarver was the bomb
I seriously doubted Hopkins in this fight. I was a happy man after the fifth round. When they first announced this fight I thought that Hopkins would get dominated. Boy was I wrong. It was a truely magical bout. I'd give him a high P4P ranking FO SHO

Yes. Hopkins looked great Sat night. I like the way he put on the weight. I did not see it. He looked lean as a bean . Now that’s the how you put on effective weight. Sharp as a tack !

Floyd dominated Judah it wasn't close at all... at the very least he won 8-4 in terms rounds, and closer to 9-3 IMO... and Judah is way better than Tarver when he is on his game... Tarver was not the same guy who beat Roy ... he was alot slower, and unmotivated... I'm not saying he could beat Hopkins a few years back, but he could have given a closer fight.

Just becus you hate Zab Judah doesn't mean he was dominated by Floyd. In reality, he won at the very least 4 rounds and knocked Floyd on his butt. Floyd hardly dominated him, but he did win the fight. Floyd wasn't jumping up two weight classes either, nor was he 41 years old.

YEAH #1 P4P in my Heart! I was starting to appreciate this boxing style(Lewis included) when I saw him fight Trinidad that was my first glimpse of B-Hop. Man this guy outclasses Tito and Tito was very good. Long Live Hopkins!

NOT TO TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM B-HOP, BUT............
he lost 2 out of his last 3 (b-hop/j.t.1 could have gone either way, the rematch was not as close)
floyd/zab was not a close fight.............to say so is absurd
floyd is the man...............deal with it
j.t. should be ranked higher than b-hop and he barely cracks the top 5
