Man please.I look sharp in training but that don't mean i can beat winky wright. Punching bags don't punch back and there no way they got any sparring partners that are as good as wright.
Maybe.. not but wright aint got no sparring partners that are as good as jermain.
Well the thing is Wright is an excellent fighter, then you toss in the South Paw advantage and Taylor is in dangerous territory. However saying that I feel that Taylor has the size and power advantage and his speed matches well with Wright. Jermaine is slick enough to do what he need to win, Taylor’s not just a come straight forward guy like Tito, Taylor can circle and get angles he match up well with Ronald’s slickness. Its going to be fun no matter what happens !
Agreed!! I see a close, competitive fight...Quote:

no way taylor schools winky....might hurt him down the road, but i think winky takes a relatively close fight...Quote:

Taylors on the way up but Winky has probably seen his best days . Surley this will play a big part like it did against Nard
I'll stake my reputation, (yeah I no I don't have one :-[ ) that Taylor will win by at least 4 rounds.
I personally see this as a one sided beatdown.
Really beats me why Winky has so many fans.
He beat a couple of natural welter weights, big deal
I've been wondering has Taylor fought any southpaws? I know he's been sparring with one obviously but has he fought any in the pro's?Quote:

I think there are many things we can argue. We can say yeah, winkys better at this , no talylors better. But there is one clear difference in the two. Power! Winky has great skill, but so does taylor. Winky I dont believe can hurt JT but I know JT can hurt winky. Will he hurt Winky? maybe, maybe not. Problem is, I dont think Ronald can afford to get caught with big shots to find out. I said that to say this. Winky could win the first 8 rounds and in round 9th move the wrong way and get caught one time and all that hard work he has put in is down the drain. See, heres the problem for winky. Trinidad stood in front of Ronald like a statue and never moved. JT will move, hes fast, and will counter winky. I hope the addition of ES has changed Jermaines wildness. He threw wild punches against bhop and was out of control at times, that is on his trainer, he fought how he was trained. Everytime Bhop ducked against JT, he should have put a big uppercut on bhop but for some reason JT never caught on to that. Anyway, I think power could be a problem for winky in this one.
Definetly agree.. I think even those wild punches could be something Winky has never faced, I feel Taylor will be strong enough to break through his guard if he needs to.Quote:

Taylor is probably quicker handed than Winky and he does have a good jab, but I've never seen Wright outjabbed. Wright's a lefty, which typically throws the orthodox jab off and his timing on the jab usually negates quick hands or reach. Taylor is going to have to straighten out his right hand and throw it hard and often.
I don't think one camp with Emmanuel Steward is going to make a magical change in Taylor's game. I'm sure he's learning, but remember how confused guys like Oscar and Rahman looked in the fights after they changes styles/corners.
To win the fight Taylor is going to have to 1) impose himself physically 2) throw a lot more shots than he threw against Hopkins.
NO ONE and i mean NO ONE schools Winky Wright! The only schooling being done will be done by winky!
Come on... talk is cheap...Quote:
