Klitschko? Umm....am I missing something?
Anyways, Frazier no doubt for me. It was so short and compact, devastating But if it were the single best left hook in heavyweight history, the award would go to Floyd Patterson's leaping left hook to regain the title from Johansson.
**edit Accidentaly voted Tua :-[
I think Joe Louis is up there, with any punch.
Why not put Tyson in there? I think he did, but out of these guys probably Tua hit harder than any of them.. He was stronger then all of them, and still have good technique in terms of hooks.
Thats a Left Hook!!!!Quote:

I don't know but I bet Lyle will be on here soon telling us it's Wlad ;)
Smokin' Joe gets my vote....his left hook was lethal!
You needed some more on that list though...
1. MIKE TYSON!!
2. ALI!!
3. Ken Norton
4. George Foreman
5. Joe Frazier
6. Joe Mesi
Just a few to speak of...
I did like Tommy Morrison when he was fighting....To much fucking and not enough fighting hurt that boy!!! For a white boy he could fight!!!
I like this poll though...
Good Luck,
Coach
it doesnt matter who wins the poll
Joe Frazier DOES have the Hardest left Ever

Reminds me of the Barber Shop in Coming to America, when they were arguing about who the best boxer was.....
"He kicked Joe Louis' ass!!!"
Good Day,
Coach
"Between You and me..how old were you..." "joe said he was 76 years old when he fought Marciano!!!"Quote:

and Ali a hard puncher? Maybe with the jab or right cross but he's nowhere near the hardest punchers of the division.
No one has Dempsey, Marciano, JOE LOUIS?
Wlad has the best right maybe, but the left hook is Peters.Quote:

HA...I still don't think Sam hits hard. He has shit technique and therefore a shit left hook. The only semi decent punch he has thrown as a professional is the hook vs Williams and that was helped by Jeremy having his hands down.Quote:

There are plenty of guys who would have whipped Mike's ass in his prime...here's a short listQuote:

I vote to add Louis to the list so I can vote, otherwise Joe Frazier.Quote:

I agree with most of that list so have a CC Lyle. As far as only remembering Tyson after he snapped???? Hell I never thought he was right, even early on when in 1987 he was talking S*** about making men squeal like women from his punches. It showed an immaturity that followed him through out his career, not just after the bite-fight.Quote:

Not the greatest left hook ever but worthy of going on the list.
For my money the hardest left hook would come down to Smokin' Joe and David Tua.
I'm gonna go with David Tua by a whisker, and I wonder if we could ask John Ruiz to come on board and see what he thinks about who has the best lef hook in history. Thats if he can spare time from his busy courtroom schedule. :P
Tua's on the comeback trail, do you think Ruiz will give him a rematch. ;D
i dont think he hit george w/ it? lol....but out of all the punches Ali ever took (aside from henry cooper) Ali had never been KOd ...and i think georeg admits he was afraid of joe and heard his hook wiz pass ...Also joe being a converted southpaw sorta seals it for me :)Quote:
