Need help making a CV/Resume please!!

I need a job for the summer so I can get a car but whenever I give out CV'S,I hardly ever get responses so I was wondering how you guys lay yours out? What are the prosepective employers looking for on it? What headings should I have? Any help get's a CC!!!and if I get a job,2 weeks worth of CC's!I want retail in central London,lots of £££/$$$ ;D and hot girls there too!

you can walk in a shop with the best cv in the world but with the confidence of a floppy cock. were as you can not have the best qualifications etc and experience but get the good jobs.

if ur in central london you could easily get a day job in a nice bar. not a scummy 1, get a nice bar, bit of waiting tables, few tips, dirty bints in the buisness suits. if its a tip bar, work in the poshest, better tips = better car.

otherwise if ur set on retail u gotta sell urself in ur cv, saying how you want to work in customer related work to work on your ever improving people skills.

get a job in a girls clothes shop, massive 1 like topshop, they will employ alot due to a high staff turnover, and think of all them girls to stare at everyday.

CC for replying,didn't think anyone would!! Appreciate it mate. Hmm,I wouldn't mind working in a bar but I don't know how to tell whether 1 is good or not as I don't go to them often!Yeeeeeah,Topshop!!!!I think the 1 on Oxford Street is the biggest 1 in Europe!!

honestly mate you could walk in topshop and walk out with an application form 50% more chance of getting a job in there than say prada, they all want gay men in dark suits.
topshop like a bit of cheek and a personality.
you can tell how good a bar is by how much its prices are, it look posh, and how posh do the customers look ;D

i was 21 before i got a car.

london aint to bad without a car as u got tube and buses and walking distance but i know wat ya mean, i live on a island and needed a car

I need the car especially for late at night,hate waiting around for a bus with a gang of 20 hoodlums waiting across the road!!! I don't mind public transport during the day though. You ever worked in Central London?

na mate, live on the isle of wight.

got family in croydon and i feel intimidated wen waiting for late buses though.

i know if it was 1 on 1 i'd take em down with a lock but they all prob got knifes or worse

1 more question Beds brother,what can I write under personal achievements on my CV?? Give me some ideas please,anything that would look good and maybe related to retail or something that would impress them.

any acheivements ???

blag it, say you did work experience in retail

say you voluntree hours working in the youth club with disabled kids

anything that makes you seem like ur willing to work hard but with a bit of awwwww factor

Say your grandad is Nelson Mandella

say something like - this is the fourth shop I've tried to get a job at and its weird as the three I failed at have all since mysteriously burnt down. ;)
