What do you mean p4p? Its not p4p if its just one weight catagory.
Maybe he meant "by the pound" then I would have had Toney higher....either way I just wanted to get my 200th post in!Quote:

Well coming from the man who didn't consider Frank Bruno to be even in the top 100 p4p in the 80's I'm not sure whether you re joking or not :PQuote:

sorry , my bad take away the P4p :)
1. Wlad: got plenty ?'s but the best and most complete
2. Toney: I hate to put this guy in here but if he shows up under 220 he can give any HW in the div a tough fight
3. Rahman: a good fighter who is woefully inconsistent
4. Liakovich: awesome heart with good fundamentals but gets hit too often
5. Brock: Looked good in his fights but needs to step it up in competition
6. Peter: Needs to get some boxing skills not every fight is going to be a slugfest.
7. Brewster: Great chin, great power and always shows up to fight. Defense sucks
8. Valuev: Sheer size and the fact you have to fight the guy in Germany wins him fights
9. Tua: I know I'll get some SC for this one but the guy is the sinlge most dangerous puncher still in the division and can't be KO'd
10. Briggs: lets see something other than club fighters.
Tua is a coulda/shoulda/woulda....no need for a SC though. Everyone has a valid point (well, atleast most).Quote:

Well well well. Looks like we need some cynics to come in and shake things up a bit.Quote:

So:
1) Nikolay Valuev
2) Wladimir Klitshko
3) Hasim Rahman
4) Liakhovich
5) Briggs (partially so i can increase, in my mind) the importance of the previously mentinoed fight between Klitschko and Briggs.)
6) Toney
7) Danny Williams (yup, he's fat, he's round, he'll beat you pound-for-pound, he's danny wwww, he's danny w)
8) Maskaev
9) Peter
10) Matt Skelton
I am fully expecting some sc's for sending the usual waves into disarray, but i need some entertainment before the Brock-Ibragimov fight gets under way. The winner of which will likely snatch one of the coveted 'superheavyrhun' top 10 places.
Well Tommy Morrison is definitely the most dangerous fighter out there, I sure as hell would'nt want to get in the ring with him
I wouldn't want him to bleed on me. LOL.Quote:

Yes there would have to be rule changes to take into account either fighter getting cut. But the actual chances of becoming HIV+ in these controlled circumstances would be minimal.
The real reason it probably could not happen is the extra insurance costs for each fighter.
I guess what I am trying to say is that sadly there are far more easier ways to die because of boxing.
Time to get off my :soapbox:
Box on ;)
To my mind it is called respect, not cowardice...Quote:

If you are a 6' 5" Heavyweight, with an excellent jab, and a fine straight right, you do what Lewis did when fighting the teak tough Samoan ;)
I can see why people thought it was boring, but if you watch it properly, Lewis expert use of his jab and a timely straight right, kept Tua honest all night.
The truth is Tua's reluctance to step into the inside of Lewis' jab, was the main reason the fight was considered boring.
And why did Tua not step into the inside? Well perhaps like you suggest about Lewis, Tua was a coward himself? Or perhaps like I said, it is called respect ;)
Sorry, petty I know but it winds me right up when you call fighters "teat tough" ;D
Granted alot of them are tits, but Im certain the word your after is teak ;)
