Max Kellerman is an idiot

He needs to do his research on Steriods and Growth Hormone next time he decideds to call out baseball football and boxers when it comes to juicing. He tried to to bait lennox by asking "what percentage of heavywieghts do you think are juicing?" In the proffessional position he's in he should be saying stuf he knows nothing about. Damn what a boring fight tonight though. props to brock but boring. This looks more like WWE right now.

You got it totally backwords on this one. I have never been a Lenox fan but he is starting to grow on me because even though he is not a great speaker, i have learned quite a bit from his comments.

i agree, i HATE lennox as a fighter, i am starting to like him as a comentator

and kellerman WAS being a biased douche, he kept saying that julio was fighting the best opposition to hammer home the point julio was not overated (which he was)

and then he kept saying timor should be penalized for holding while bropck managed to land about 7 palm strikes a round, not to mention he was initiating just as many clinches

I have been thinking about what a few of you said about Lewis dropping knowledge and being helpful even though he isn't a great speaker.

I still dislike him. Yet, if he would speak up and stop taking cues from the other commentators I think I would be content with him. He sits there so quietly that sometimes I forget about him until someone asks him a question.

Anyone who clinches that many times is supposed to get Dqed. It's funny how not as many people complain when Wladimir does it though. And he doesn't clinch, he grabs.

timor clincehed only HALF the time, the other half it was brock, watch again, 40% timor 40% brock 10% mutual, and who landed 100% of the palm strikes?

dq them both for holding equally, and then give brock a secondary grand master DQ for palmstriking, proceding to push timors chin back, and hitting with the other hand while doing this, if that was in NJ brock would have been warned 5 times by the 3rd round, if not penalized

right...except the fact that if they came out with a reliable test for HGH there would be mass retirements in all sports.....The bottom line is that until there is a test there will be cheaters......so until that happens there will be questions and rightfully so......He has every right to ask questions to Lewis and any other athlete for that matter.....

i liked it better when RJJ called the fights. :dontknow: he saw things during the fight that the other two asses never caught onto. and saw punches actually being missed and landed for each fighter. HBO is really starting to suck huge sweaty balls w/ all the fucking PPV fights and half assed & biased commentary.

There were so many shots that Winky blocked that Lampley gave him credit for that you would actually think Taylor won by landslide. If Taylor would really have landed all those shots, Winky would have been knocked out. He's not always bad but there are times that I just have to mute him.

I actually like Lennox. He knows he's shit and he's does break stuff down on the fight. I'm neutral on Kellerman. I think he's just waiting for Merchant to croke. Any the other dude Charles is brutal. He seems like a Ivy-League prick he couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag.

I think Jim Lampley is pleasing to the ear and does a tremendous job coordinating the commentary. One of the best sports announcers out there . Your right about being swayed by commentary , But all fights are swayed by commentary . it’s the commentators point of view, sometimes you share their point of view, and sometimes you don’t . I usually go into every fight favoring one fighter over the other, and tend to pay attention to my fighter regardless of commentary. So I usually watch the fight again to get a a real feel for a what happened in the bout. . Also if I am scoring a bout I like to break each Round into 3 parts 1st min, 2nd min,3rdmin and add the total and you get the winner for that round keeps you from being swayed by a impressive 20 min rally at the end of a round from a fighter who was losing 2min :40sec of that round. People tend we remember the end of rounds and not the beginning of rounds .

If you could put Jim Lampleys voice, play-by-play (straight guy) commentary style, and Max Kellermans knowledge together in one person, you would have a really good commentator.

Thats pretty messed up......to be honest the good thing about all of these guys is that they all love boxing and seem to do their homework.

The truth is I feel that Teddy would be good on Boxing After Dark and he has put in his time on ESPN that's for sure.

Agree completely. Lennox is dumb as bricks and a TERRIBLE commentator. Being such a great boxer, you wouldn't expect either of these things, but the guy just doesn't get it. He never says a word unless he's asked a question, and then when he responds it's clear that he didn't understand the question--or his response just won't make any sense at all. Max will be like, "so, brock's corner is telling him to let ibragomov come to him so he can counter. hey champ, do you agree that he should be waiting to counter?" and Lennox responds something like "Oh, definitely. Definitely. But he's doing just what he should be doing now, walking Ibragomov down and imposing his will on the man." Ok, so you disagree? Or what?

They should fire Lennox and get B-Hop in there to replace him. Immediately.

Yes......I always liked RJJ in there and Foreman for that matter.

I agree with the statement that Lennox is a horrible commentator...he stumbles over his words, id take max kel over him anyday.
