Who is watching Wimbledon?
Federer wins with his eyes closed again, i think his biggest threat will come from a big server maybe Ancic, but he can beat all these guys from the back of the court with one hand.
Henman v Federer 2nd round looks a bit tasty, not for Henman i suppose.

Re: Who is watching Wimbledon?
Was hoping we had a hope in Murray but after hearing about his exploits on Talksport when saying he would be wearig a Paraguay shirt for England game I have to say bollocks to him

Re: Who is watching Wimbledon?
I'm hoping Roddick can actually take this one. He's been to the finals the last 2 years I think and been defeated by Federor. I think he's due to win at wimbledon.
-
Re: Who is watching Wimbledon?
no one is looking at henman this year and he looked alright at queens....im telling you, he is gonna get to the second round!!!!!

Re: Who is watching Wimbledon?
Want to start following it but it's clashing with the world cup. Watch it every year usually. I always seemed to dislike poor Tim, but with all the shit and criticism he gets from the media every year I'm behind him 100% this time. It would definitely shut up some know-it-alls in the back pages of the fucking Sun and other tabloids who only ever mention Tennis once a year, and only to have a dig at the best player Britain has produced in the modern era.

I feel sorry for Roddick if Federer hadnt been around last couple of years Roddick would of had a couple of Wimbledon titles to his name, but the problem is Federer is around and he owns Roddick i think the H2h is like 9-1 Federer with Roger beating him in the last nine. On top of that Roddick is having a terrible year.

The jokes on him, we're letting scotchland go once we've stolen all the north sea gas. Let's see how long their economy lasts on haggis and tartan, no wonder they're miserable bastards.

Re: Who is watching Wimbledon?
I want Roger to win this competition until he retires simplyecause he is amazing to watch, better than Nadal on clay. I hope he faces Rafa and gives him a beating!!! I don't want a Fed Hewitt/Roddick/Nalbandian final though, that's getting boring,I hope he beats someone else in the final!

I dont know The Game i think Federer Nalbandian is always exciting, i think Roddick hasnt got a parayer against Federer as hasnt Hewitt.
Nadal wont made the second week never mind the final, i think Ancic is the darkhorse, not to sure if there in the same half but that is a possible final, and if you remember Ancic was the last man to beat Roger on grass way back in 2002!!
-
Re: Who is watching Wimbledon?
I always thought once Sampras retired, mens grass court tennis would be blown wide open and anyone could win... then Federer came along and ruined it with his sheer awesomeness and invincibility. >:mad

Yeah that is true Roddick is horrible this year but he always seems to turn it around on grass. But if for some reason Federer gets beat I bet the final will be Hewitt and Roddick, but thats if roddick doesn't blow it. He seems to crack under preasure.

I agree, but with all the spare time that Roddick has now (since selling the Body Shop) you would have expected him to have put in a decent amount of training and to do well.
Still, I bet he smells the nicest after his shower.

Re: Who is watching Wimbledon?

Yeh, I'm with ya m8, think he has been awesome and doesn't deserve any stick at all. At the end of the day how many Male tennis stars have we had in a whole generation that could boast a record like his!!
But for the rain in 2001 I am sure he would've done Goran and Ratfer was thrre for the taking in the final.
If we wanna give stick give it to Mark Petchey, Nick Brown, Jeremy Bates, John Lloyd, Jamie Delgado....the list goes on - Hebnman is the best we have had since the glory days

Re: Who is watching Wimbledon?
figures Roddick and Agassi got beat this weekend. Roddicks garbage man I use to like him allot to, I really don't know what happend to him this year though. I hope Hewitt wins now I'm sick of Federer winning.

Re: Who is watching Wimbledon?
I want Fed to wipe the floor with everyone and win Wimbledon every year he enters!! Come onnnn!! I also want him to mee Nadal somewhere and give him an absolute pounding!! BY the way, what has happened to Roddick? Has he changed trainers or something,he looks really poor.
