well done H's brother
There are fitness, diet experts here on the site and Im not one of them, but surely that cant be healthy to lose that much that quick?
Nah, can't be, but he weighed up the pros and cons and thought it's gotta be better than carrying around 26 stone for another 6 monthsQuote:

Big fella, thats not healthy though surely is it? Wont he just put loads back on when he starts eating properly? Then again he was quite a big fella so maybe the inital weight loss will stay off but i hope he wont carry it on or he will get problems i would have thought with his digestive system.
Also isn't he constantly hank fookin marvin???
He is now on a things called a maintenance programe, where you are slowly reintroduced to food gradaully over a period of time, he has to see a councillor every week to plan what he will be eating (had to see a concillor every week for whole of diet) He did a lot of research before doing the diet (whcih has been around sibce the sixties) and contacted lots of people that had done it previously and none of them had experienced any health problems. So fingers crossed it will all be ok.Quote:

Believe it or not., the only excess skin he has is around his gut and that is gradually disappearing. There is a guide to how long it takes for the body to lose this excess skin and for him it is about 2 years, but he is now training to try and shift it quicker. Tell u what tho, a bit of skin is a lot better than 12 stones of extra fat ;)Quote:
