Thats the worst robbery ive ever seen, god....thats bullshit. Rabah won at least 117 to 111 and the other guy got a UD. Home town decision, thats fucking bullshit. Absolute robbery,Urango must of known the judges were gonna rob rabah coz he acted like he knew it was going to happen. How did three judges,with one favouring Urango by SIX points come up with this one.Urango moved forward during all of the fight sure ,but it proved ineffective.A HUGE embarrassment for the Floridian commission though Urango
could say he "won" the title in Hollywood where many dreams are "realised".

That's the problem, there is no Florida commision. It's made up of Indian game comissions. I think at least, I remember hearing something like that before the Lacy-Reid fight.

I gonna say it right now everyone, I think Urango WON the fight. Before you call me an idiot and jump all over me, think about this, what did Rabah do? Did he ever discourage Urango from coming forward? Hurt him at all? Land consistently? Keep a stiff Jab on Urango? Nope, none of the above. He ran for his life. Yes, Ran, throughout most of the fight. He fought like a survivor, he certainly did not fight to win. Urango came to fight and to win, unfortunately he was the only one. I had been lookin forward to this fight and am a Urango fan, I'll be the first to admit, his draw on his record is a generous one, and Mike Arnaoutis probably shoulda got the decision, for outBOXING Urango, this Rabah fella just outRAN him. Sure punchstats say he landed more, but thnk, did one of those punches ever do anything? Nope. I felt Urango won it legit by about 116-112 or 115-113. To me this fight was much like Hagler vs Leonard or Mayorga vs Spinks, a slower guy pressing the action while the other runs and runs and runs and tries to barely win rounds. Ok hulk so if rabah ran...but seemingly landed more punches, what did urango do to win besides hit air all night and walk across the ring trying to cut rabah off? He did jackshit to win and he didnt win that fight. Just coz rabah was on his bike the whole fight doesnt mean he loses it coz he was landing punches at the same time when urango wasnt. Effective agression mate, rabah had it and urango did it. Its a fucking disgrace and how anyone can score that fight for urango i will never know!

Listen, I like ya man, we are both fellow Hatton Haters. But how can you look at what Rabah did and say he deserved to win? Boxing is one thing, Whitaker, PBF, Roy Jones, Hopkins have all fough aggressors and boxed their way to victory. It is differnt from what Rabah did, he didn't do shat. He ran and survived. Urango landed some good body shots and a few upstairs as well, he didnt run around, look foolish and swing at air constantly. It was a damn boring fight, but Urango at least tried to make it a FIGHT. Rabah just didn't do shat, at all. He won some rounds sure, where he would land maybe 3 clean punches and Urango wouldn't land at all. But no way he did enuff to win, he didn't even fight. Honestly neither man really did enuff to call themselves Champ, and take what was formerly Tzyu's title, but least Urango came to fight. I know you support your fellow Ausssies, but cmon man, I thought you liked fighters who had some balls. And came to WIN. ???

I have yet to see the fight but CC for you Hulk,in the last few weeks,all the fighters that you want to win/lose have been winning or losing(Urango,B Hop,Paulie etc!)!! Sounded like an incredibly boring fight though!

Thank you man, but it still doesn't fill the hole in my heart put there by Mayorga losing to that fukin bastard Oscar!! >:mad But the B-hop win was awesome and I loved every minute of it. This fight, honestly didn't make me real happy or nothing. I would have preferred to see Urango fight a better guy, a tougher guy for the title, like Ricardo Torres or N'dou, or Witter, or maybe Demetrius Hopkins. I was just glad to see that the decision did not follow SRL vs Hagler and Spinks vs Mayorga. In that the guy who came to fight and pressed the action got the decision. But the fight itself sucked. It just pissed me off when Teddy and his side kick were callin it a "Masterful performance", "dominant', "excellent boxing", and I was sittin there goin WTF is this Rabah guy doin besides runnin and landing pitter patt shots, most of which were not clean. B4 the fight even started though, in the Dale Brown fight, which was a BS situation let me tell you, Teddy was all commending the new Flordia commission, and right then I knew that wouldn't last. Before the night was over I knew he was gonna be cursin em. ;D

Yeah,I'm not too keen on those "boxers" who actually just run for the whole night although I have yet to see this fight. Lovemore Ndou wants Urango,he was ringside and said he wanted the winner so we could have a war on our hands!!! Yeah,I felt for Mayorga,I did not see him going down like that!! You think we will ever see him again?

Yeah, they call those kind of guys, "stylists" :-X :P Far as El Matador is concerned, I hope so. I think his image and ego took a serious blow in that loss though. I'm a diehard fan, and while it hurt, I am not about to abandon him or call him a coward, a phoney or any nonsense like that. And he ain't no bully either. I hope he does return though because there are still guys he can beat and make great fights with like "Terra" Garcia, Ike Quartey, Fernando Vargas, Ouma, and possibly that "stylist" Spinks depending on how he does in his next track meet, I mean fight. ;)

Dude yeah we get along good but i dont see how you could score it for urango. He came to fight...and he couldnt do it coz he was outboxed. Call it running but just coz rabah hit and wasnt hit it doesnt mean he should lose the fight coz he dont wanna brawl. It was a smart fight by Rabah and he was robbed plain and simple. Neither of them deserve to hold that title and i hope kostya watched this because if it had of been kostya in with either of these...it wouldnt of lasted two rounds. Urango couldnt even hit him, he walked forward...got jabbed and uppercutted and then would go for his telegraphed left hand and it would miss. He had nothing and thats what he hit. Pure robbery to say the least.

Hit and not be hit is the name of the game, I understand. But Rabah did not hit Urango clean very many times. He never stopped to engage, nor kept the fight in the middle of the ring to outbox Urango. By the end of the fight he was nearly exhausted from running so much. Yes he landed more shots, but not meaningful ones at all. And even Tzyu would have a tuff time catchin this freak, probably take him a good 4 rounds, but Tzyu knows how to cut the ring down and is faster and a much more complete fighter than Urango. Honestly any time he wants his belt back he should just give Urango a call, go to war with him, maybe get rocked a little bit, KO Urango and take it. I like Urango, but until he defends that belt and proves himself, he is not worthy of bein called the recognized jr. Welter World Champ.

Yes mate but even if his shots werent meaningful...it was more then urango could land. It was boring as hell but still rabah won coz imo he was more effective,although he moves alot he still managed to hit urango. I know you like blokes who come to fight like mayorga but just coz they have that mentality it doesnt mean they should win even if they cant execute that plan. Ndou wants to fight Urango apparently and imo he is much better then rabah so i think he would beat urango.

And even Tzyu would have a tuff time catchin this freak, probably take him a good 4 rounds, but Tzyu knows how to cut the ring down and is faster and a much more complete fighter than Urango. Honestly any time he wants his belt back he should just give Urango a call, go to war with him, maybe get rocked a little bit, KO Urango and take it. I like Urango, but until he defends that belt and proves himself, he is not worthy of bein called the recognized jr. Welter World Champ.
Yes mate but even if his shots werent meaningful...it was more then urango could land. It was boring as hell but still rabah won coz imo he was more effective,although he moves alot he still managed to hit urango. I know you like blokes who come to fight like mayorga but just coz they have that mentality it doesnt mean they should win even if they cant execute that plan. Ndou wants to fight Urango apparently and imo he is much better then rabah so i think he would beat urango.
Man, A LOT of guys are better than Rabah. And I know brawlers dont win just cus the other guy wont engage much, when they are outboxed like in the case of Tito Trinidad by Wright, Lacy by Calzaghe, Tua by Byrd and Lewis, I'll be the first to admit it, but that was not the case in this fight. Not IMO. I like N'dou too, I thought he shoulda beat Sharmba and put up a close and good fight with Cotto, still can't believe he got beaten up by that lil beotch Witter though. I don't know about a Florida commision but if there is gambling at the Hard Rock then it is on an Indian Reservation. There was a big dispute because two counties down there voted to allow gambling but the rules and regulations were never set in place for a year so no Casino's other than the, already open Indian one, came to be and people were saying how can we vote on something then it not actually be put into effect. Tampa fights aren't on an Indian reservation though so maybe there is a Florida commission. Regardless it sucks for the fans and I'll drive 12 hours in any other direction than south to see a good fight before I'll head the 5 hours down that way to catch one in Hollywood.

I quit putting faith in the judges after one of my childhood idols (HAGLER) got robbed in the Leonard fight.......you can never leave anything to the judges.......they cannot be trusted.......they will almost always side with popular opinion/hometown decisions.......they have nothing to lose......

It's nice that many are so passionate about boxing, since I am a Florida boxing judge but even the Australian judge had it unanimous for Urango. This was not a hometown decision. You have to land punches and fight to score points and Rabah just basically ran for most of the fight. Two judges had it more acurrate at 116-112 and 115-113. From home I had it 115-113 for Urango. Keep watching and go to a live event and you will have a better feel for who is winning.
