I know everyone is different, and some may feel that some punches are more important than others, depending on their style and how they box. But overall, which do you feel is the least important? I'd have to say the hook, but I'm no pro.

can we get the option "they're all important"? ;D
They are all Important.. They all have their Up's
If I had to choose I would say my right hook. I usely just replace it with a straight right unless of course im on the inside of the guy and cant get the full power of my right because I am so close to him, which is where the right hook comes in handy.
??? you need all of these punches
there's no such thing as a right hook.Quote:

for the record, I think jab is a key punch, but it's not one you have to throw hard. I don't jab hard but I try to keep it in the guys face to set myself up for harder punches. I also like to throw jab to the body a lot to get the guys hands down.
the uppercut is pretty limited in when you can use it.
Dont like to see jabs to the body to many counters against it
I use it in conjunction with my reach.
so your saying you invented the right hook?
it was a joke. everyone throws it but it doesn't exist.Quote:

every punch that lands is valid. especially short, crisp, clean. and after every one you bring it back to where it belongs. tell rocky marciano his right over-the-top cross sucked.
Von if youre a clairvouant you tell him.
I'd probably say that my right hook is the least important punch I throw, but because you dont differentiate, and the left hook is very important to me, I'd have to say uppercut. It's an awesome punch that doesnt seem to get thrown all that often, and works very well when I throw it out there. However, overall, it'd be the one type of punch that I really could do just fine without.
