That's got to be the strangest movie I have ever seen. It made absolutely no cents whatsoever! (about as much as a dollar bill)
It turns out that 'Tyler Durdan' guy was just his imagination the whole time... ??? :dontknow:

I'll try watching it again. What is it that makes it good? (Not that I don't believe you, I was just wondring). :)
2nd times a charm.....its one of the best movies period
he unconsiously created tyler--to make something of his waisted meaningless life--fight club was created for other people who have no purpose in life as well. ex no love, no talents, no friends, nothing to fall back on from the pressures of the world, hence fight club 4 that guy who always gets the short end of the stick. yeah the first time is a little weird the second time u watch it will b much better

;D ;D :D I personally thught it was one of the best films I have ever seen with one of the best scenes ever...when Ed Norton beats himself up!! That was hilarious but scary at the same time!"Quote:

Those who liked Fight Club should check out The Machinist if they haven't seen it yet.Quote:

But remember when Tyler had that guy who owned the basement beat the shit out of him until he finally told them they could host the fight club down there? How could he be getting beat and sitting right there unharmed at the same time? ??? That was the part that confused me the most.
I think so it might be a great movie, though. I'll buy it off half.com. :)

It weren't so simple to me. But then again, I don't watch many fighting films, maybe that's why... :dontknow:Quote:

honeslty though, theres not a lot to get. he meets a guy called Tyler who turns out to be a split personality which he can see. he shoots himself in the gob... probably caused by him so how mentally destroying/free himslef from Tyler, theres some cool stuff inbetween and it's over :P
Its pretty well done, they never interact with any one at the same time, theres teh little montage where it shows only the narrator (you never hear his name, I think?...) doing all the things him and Tyler did, but by himself... like when they fight in the car park, he was just punching him self... ;) when brad pitt gives the rules speach... it was just edward Norton) Sort of similar to the sixth sense, you don't know it (or your not ment to... I got it about 45 minutes in ;)) but he only ever gets a response from the little kid in it.
You sussed the 6th sense before the end without being told it beforehand??Quote:

Got The sixth sense's twist before two, though that was more obvious.
I didn't know for sure, but I started to get suspicious when his wife was ignoring him at the restaurant and when he was in the basement throwing a fit when that guy stopped by to see his wife.
yeah, things like that. The wake or what ever it was sealed it.Quote:
