Boxrec shows Floyd Mayweather Jr. fighting Carlos Baldomir on November 4th.

It doesn't have the flash of a Margarito or DLH fight but I really would love to see this fight happen.

I would rather see Mayweather fight Baldomir than anyone else to be honest. Baldy became the man at 147 lb by beating Judah, he's retired Arturo Gatti and so he deserves his shot at Mayweather and a big payday.

I think Floyd will box rings around him though :P

Definitely. At least I think. But he won't get Baldy out of there and Baldy does everything right, just nothing REALLY GOOD, he really is a true throwback champion. And he could box for 24 rounds, so Floyd can't take him lightly and he can't give away rounds thinking it's all in a days work like Judah. Judah should not have lost that fight but he did just by taking Baldo lightly and thinking he had the fight secured after the 5th round. I know Floyd isn't that foolish but he still has to be careful nonetheless.

It would be nice if PBF fights Mosley in the Feb date

Baldomir might be solid enough to keep PBF from looking spectacular but I definitely don't see him winning the fight. But its a respectable choice, Baldo deserves a shot.

It's too bad that a young welterweight named Ricky Hatton doesn't seem to have the confidence in himself like Floyd does to take on good fighters.

give ricky a chance and see what he does because one: ricky is probably more motivated for floyd then any other big fight due to theyr confrontation at the first taylor-hopkins fight,

This would be great if it comes off. Floyd will take home the world welterweight championship with a easy 12 round decision. Then he could drop back down to 140 to capture Hatton's world title.

The thing is...this is the most legit fight out there for Floyd. Most prestige from a fan's point of view & if Floyd wins...he's top dog with 3 titles at 147.

WBC, IBO, & IBA all go up for grabs...honeslty...I think that this is going to be a great fight & a bit of a tuffy.

Maybe your right. Watch the first Castillo Vs Mayweather fight, Castillo tore him up to the body. Was definately Floyds toughest fight to date!

this could be the fight that forces ODLH's hand......When PBF wins it will put him on par with ODLH and ODLH won't stand for it....he will be out to prove that he(ODLH) is the best ever..not PBF....that feb 07 fight might very well be ODLH.....

THANK GOD THIS FIGHT IS HAPPENING!!! Fuck Tony, Tony has done enough to earn a shot and he hasn't even fought on HBO or Showtime on his own card yet. Baldomir has headlined the Judah fight on Showtime and now the Gatti fight on HBO. Plus, the guy is the Ring recognized 147 champion and the WBC 147 champ. Baldy is tough as nails and hasn't lost in like 10 years or some shit like that and if Floyd can beat Baldy then he has proven that he belongs at 147. Tony can go on and keep on not trying to earn the PBF fight, after PBF punishes Baldy, PBF won't need to fight Tony to justify himself at 147. TOny needs to either fight Judah, Collazo, or Williams in his next fight, no excuses. When you aren't a draw what business do you have demanding anything?
