I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Mosley still has it & INO he has what it takes to not only beat, but TKO/KO Floyd! He's no Judah & won't be scared to bang & use his speed, also Mosley would have a size & power advantage over PBF!
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Also Mosley is a very talented fighter who INO isn't over the hill yet & will use what he has to his advantage in a fight with PBF?
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Mayweather easy UD.
sorry
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweat
Could be a great fight, Mosely looked awesome against Vargas, not sure Floyd would have the power to ko Vargas like that.
I think after Mayweather De La Hoya, Mosely would make for the most entertaining fight
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweat
Mosley would be difficult no doubt, but Floyd would take win a decision, his defense is to go for Mosley.
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
you probably are. The only one, that is.
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
no mate your not the only one Mosley via KO IMO ;D
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
theyre both slick speedy and powerful, though floyd is younger and a better counter puncher. its fight fire with fire and a very entertaining concept but if i had to pick which i wouldnt swear by it would be floyd ud..mind u not a whitewash just fairly close but as long as you know floyd won and its not contraversial.

Yeah bro wouldn't be an easy night for Floyd but he'd walk away with a clear cut decision.

Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Funny that I go with Mosley,Mayweather has never Boxed anyone who moves their front foot as good as Mosley. I think he would give him big problems
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
i dunno .problems maybe , its possible but i dont see an upset i think its the next few big fights that are going to make or break floyd to be fair bbut he'll be ready as always it may come down to the slightest things when he gets the best fights like conditioning style and power he has them but are they a factor against the greats out there

Definately cause Floyd problems, but Floyd can adjust to anything. Floyds defense & counter punching will be the winning factor.
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Mayweather has trouble moving forward of the jab, fortunatly hes been well matched, make no mistake, and well advised, I also think Mosley will stand there and have it with him, Hes just as fast, and can read things just as good and hits harder. When the shit hits the fan we will see, very interesting.

Nice points, I just think Floyds defense will be the key factor.
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Northside. I assure you ARE NOT the only one. I think Mosley would wipe the floor with pretty boy. Too talented (just like floyd is) but bigger. Ass whoopin. ODLH would slap him down as well. They are not quite fair matchups in my opinion.

Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweat
DLH & Mosley are definately the two most difficult opponents for Floyd, but his speed, counter punching, & defense would lead him to victory. If Winky could come down to 154 I'd say he is the only opponent who could threaten to defeat Mayweather.
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
I think that many disregard the talent of Oscar & Mosley juz becuz Floyd has been winning, but if either end up fighting PBF you will all see a different outcome than you think! ODH by TKO/KO
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Floyd Mayweather, being in the prime of his youth and career, is too good to be stopped by a fighter who's on the brink of retirement.

DLH will definately be one of Floyds toughest opponents, but Oscar is not the fighter he once was, Floyd is still at his best. Floyd will counter Oscar all night long, Floyd wins by decision!!!

Wrong again! Quartey, Margarito, Sergiy Dzinziruk, and Ouma, would all beat Oscar, Mosley and Mayweather.

Bro Oscar would knock Quartey out right now, Margarito & Dzinziruk have fought nobody ( Daniel Santos doesn't mean shit ) they'ed get their a**' handed to them. Ouma would cause problems because of his size & punch output, but Oscar would win an easy decision. If what your saying is true then why is no one calling to see these fights made, when nearly everyone I know wants to see Floyd Vs Oscar, or Mosley/ Mayweather. These other guys aren't even in the equation!!!

Nope cause even in Oscar's and Mosley's prime they could not beat Quartey.
There are more articles out there for Margarito/Mayweather than Mosley/Mayweather-go to google and be enlightened.
As for as guys like Margarito not being able to fight anyone is one of the main reasons I am always protesting all the golden/pretty boy favoritism and protection.

If Mosley hadn't have said he ain't gonna fight for the rest of the year you can garantee that would have been Floyds next fight. That would have been big, definately much bigger than Margarito/ Mayweather thats a fact. Every forum or boxing site I look at, the majority is saying Margarito needs to beat some guys like Quintana or Collazo before he even thinks about calling out Mayweather. Margarito has just sat arouund at welter doing nothing for to long, Forrest, Spinks, Damgaard, Mayorga were all around & for one reason or another he never stepped it up with the likes of them.

Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Ive always liked Mosley and Dela Hoya. Im also loving thier recent ressurection of form. However i would suggest that if they wish to make money AND win fights.... They should stick with the Vargas, Quartey, Forests and Mayorgas of the boxing world....
Because these new guys. Floyd, Kassim AND Antonio... Would knock the old guard for six.
(Bar Ouma v Mosley BTW) ::**

Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
IWO, Mosley is the greatest fighter of this decade.
He's amazing in the ring & in his weight class...I believe that he is unbeatable...but let me back peddle & say this...he needs to stay in his reachable weight classes before he get's ko'd.

Agree with you there Wack.
Id take it a step further and say If Mosley hadnt jumped up the divisions so fast when he was younger, he couldve dominated the lower ends and we'd be talking about one of the greatest we'd ever seen.
Jumping up to face Winky and ODLH etc. greatly reduced Mosleys natural speed. If hed of stayed home, maybe even made Oscar stay around at the lighter weights and fight him, I believe we would of seen a much more dominant fighter.

Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
:banghead:
Mayweather only needs to win 7 rounds to beat shane.
Mayweather normally wins all his rounds anyway.
Mayweather is to fast.
Shane will lose, maybe he can go the distance,
But shane is to old for the fast Mayweather.
Shane will probelly take to many shots and get TKO.

Whilst Mayweather may win, Ill remind you he couldnt knock out Zab "Glass-Jaw" Judah. How exactly is he gonna knock out Sugar Shane?

Agreed.
All that weight jumping is what fwocked RJJ in my opinion...but be that as it may...I'm not saying my guy wouldn't stand a chance at beating Mosley or Oscar...I'm just saying that there's not a lot of KO power in Mayweather...& those bigger bwoy's still have it left in them...but to contradict that statement...fighting Mayweather aint KOing a Vargas or Mayorga...those fwocks were just worn out to the point of no return.
Floyd will fight & he will fight hard...something those two idiots I just mentioned did not.
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Floyd will be light on his feet and clever with it..
..but Shane has an awsome knock-out record against some big names.
He's fast sharp and hits hard..
And has wins over De La Hoya.
Wheras Floyd has wins over.......Sharmba mitchell and err Zab judah !
Everything points to a mayweather win.... but i still feel a bit 'jeff lacy' about it all!!
When the wheels come off for Floyd everyone will say "Told you he wasn't all that" ::**
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
You can be justified for saying Shane can beat Mayweather cuz he outboxed a prime Oscar De La Hoya . But if you say Floyd can beat Shane , how can you justify that ? Mitchel ? Castillo , Brussels ?

Its true - we ain't haters...
But where is the pedigree? sure there are some names at 130..135....
but 147 has been made up of bumped-up 140 fighters.
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Can I remind the people...
(And I am in boxing training)
When your tired, worn out from flurries and jabs,
And you find it difficult to chase someone,
Thats when your tired,
And have nothing to go on,
Thats when you can get hurt (standing up) or simply knocked to the
canvas out of sheer tiredness.
Now I have half the experience (no canvas treatment yet)
And thats what will/may happen to Shane.
THE END

You couldn't justify Hatton beating Kostya before they fought based on his resume, but he won, BECAUSE HE WAS BETTER. Floyd is better than Shane.
sorry

Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
If Shane had a baseball bat ! ;D
Just f*ckin about ! it's possible no doubt, very possible, I would favor Floyd in a strong way, but I would not be shocked if Mosley timed him, Shane do have the skills , I just feel Shane would be a little too slow for PBF.

Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
I love how Floyd fans constantly talk about how "great" he is...even though he has never beaten a GREAT fighter. People, and HBO, especially got on his jock after his dominating performance against Gatti...who was tailor made for Floyd to embarrass. Now don't get me wrong...he is very talented and he definitely can score victories against worthy competition. But the fact remains...he hasn't. So until he does....people need to get off his jock. As for his defense....it certainly is very good. But he has been tagged/stunned by much lesser fighters/punchers than Mosely and De la Hoya. In their primes...I can see either of these two fighters beating Floyd and potentially knocking him out. Right now, I think both Shane and Oscar could still give him a hell of a fight and still have a chance to beat him. They are both stronger, Shane is just as fast, both have great chins, both are smart, and both have been involved in much bigger fights than Floyd ever has been. And to be honest....i give more props for two "old" fighters like Shane and Oscar wanting to fight the current "pond for pound" best. Shows they like the challenge. They have cemented their place as some of the all time greats. Floyd definitely has not. Mayweather needs to step up.
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
Some good points Zhubin and I certainly agree,Floyd has been caught by lesser guys than Shane and although Shane and Oscar are in no way shape or form all time greats(they are however hall of famers),they would both test Floyd. I have always thought prime Shane(130-135)would beat Floyd,I mean Shane was scary at that weight. I only had the pleasure of seeing some of his fights there recently, until then,I really didn't understand where the Sugar tag came from but now I see clearly!!
-
Re: I don't know if I'm the only one, but I believe that Mosley can beat Mayweather!
I guess we have to wait and see how Shane looks in his first fight at 147 before jumping to conclusions,I don't think we can take that much from the Vargas fight although there were a few psositives like Shanes speed and combo but he'd need ALOT more of that for Floyd! I'd like him to make Floyd come forward where I don't think he is anywhere near as effective and counter Floyd, work the body etc.

I love how Floyd Haters say he has never fought anyone good? Judah, Mitchell, Jose Castillo, Corley, Diego Corrales," what a beating he gave Corrales" Jesus Chavez "tremendous champion " Hernandez, Manfredy who at the time was at the top of his game.
