Valero just became champion with a 10 round TKO of Mosquera. A fight in which Mosquera went down twice in the first and Valero once in the 3rd. I stand corrected on Valero, I taught he would lose. He proved me wrong

Where did you get the info on the knockdowns?
Sounds like the best fight of the night, only hope its going to find its way on the net soon
Valero's the real deal. Even kd'd Mosquera twice in the 1st rd.

Off a spanish radio feed. My spanish is broken as hell when I talk it, but I got no problem understanding it.Quote:

I can't believe he did it boxed half as many rounds tonight as he had done in his whole career upto now!
And he's disabled! Way to go Valero!
CC for providing the info. I too was stand corrected but no on losing but Valero's ability to last 10 rounds.Quote:

I thought he would lose too, I'd seen his last 3 or 4 fights and he'd looked kinda shitty, mainly just wild, but he can punch and its interesting to see what he does from here on out.
Valero probably is wild. I'm betting Mosquera stood right in front and traded. Valero will be beaten by a boxer. He'll be a Trinidad or Lacy, he's impressive as long as you stand in frotn and trade but can be countered and outboxed, just a matter of time till when
I'm not so certain, sure Moequera fought the wrong fight but he'd never been stopped before. But time will tell...Quote:

I'm not prepared to jump on the band wagon just yet, but the win over Mosquera is sure impressive!!!Quote:

Valero though is on the fringe of greater things ahead.
