I hear he's been training with one of the Gracies. We'll see what he can do.
I hadn't heard the Gracies...but I had heard that he'd been working out with the Militich camp.
He's been training like crazy with the Militec camp, and Pat himself said he could be the next huge thing in MMA if he keeps it up. When he signed with K1, K1 appointed Royce Gracie to train him to make him the next superstar.
The guy is a monster, and appears to be insanely dedicated to making it in MMA. Apparently, he almost made a pro football team (NFL, not the fake canadian league or real football) with NO prior experience. This guy is really going to make some waves if he's training as hard as everyone says he is. Best of luck to him, I say.
Hey, I'm Canadian, chump!!!! >:mad Ah, no worries. the CFL does suck. lol.Quote:

he needs to lose some of that mass if he's gonna be worth a damn at striking
this could be huge!!!!!!! He is a legitimate wreatler and with his size and power he could dominate with the right training...I don't think the BJJ is it anymore....he needs to focus on his striking....Quote:

he has been around 270-280 for like 10 years at least.....I think it is possible for a guy with his build to hold that size without steroids...now if he was say 5'11" I would agree completely....:)Quote:

Former WWE superstar Giant Silva already fought in pride, and got beat everytime but once.....he is really bad. Also Sean O'Haire former WWE superstar fought mma and didnt do much better.
Bob Sapp is a pro wrestler, and he's got a good kickboxing and MMA record.
Also...UFC offered Kurt Angle a contract, which he now says he regrets turning down. I think his exact words were "If I had known how big it would become, I never would have turned them down"
WOW i didnt know dat happened...it would have been great to have a olympic gold medalist that fights in mma.Rulon Gardner dont count cuz he only had one fightQuote:

I just hope Brock knows that K-1 is not fake like pro wrestling.
Trust me he knowsQuote:

From an interview on sherdog.com, he talks about wanting to really be a true MMA fighter, and train in all sorts of different camps and styles to truly make himself a rounded fighter, not just some pro wrestler turned MMA goon.
I really hate pro wrestling and most pro wrestlers (I give them credit for being awesome at what they do, I just don't like what they do), but I have huge hopes for this guy and I've got a feeling he's going to shock the world of MMA when he finally enters the ring.
My biggest fear is that they either turn him into a freakshow, a la Butterbean, that they constantly have him fighting cans just to showcase what he has, a la most of the Ultimate Fighter contestants, or that they really feed him to the sharks before he's ready for it, a la Nate Quarry.
