You challenged Lamon Brewster when he was lying in a hospital bed. Now you are challenging Oleg Maskaev, who just fought 12 hard rounds and needs time to heal. Does this make you brave?

My promoter Don King called your manager, Shelly Finkel, three weeks ago when I was in his office in Florida and
offered to make the fight, but Shelly Finkel said "not now, maybe later."

Why not on November 11? What will change later?

I believe our fight will show people who the best champion is right now. You were so eager to fight me last year, what happened now? Or maybe you are just glad you didn't, after you saw what I did to Brewster?

If it is true about your "Vaseline" or some other excuses, why don't you prove it? Fight the guy who beat the guy who beat you, or are you looking for an easy way to be a champion?

I think Sergio is getting carried away. Fair play he beat Brewster, but Brewster can't box for shit whilst Wlad clearly can.

Wlad punishes Sergio.

I just said that anything is possible...I clearly think that Wlad would take it.

Wlad is far from a HW god. IMO, the only reason he's in the position he's in is because he holds like crazy now. I don't think, I know Sergei beats Wlad. Wlad knows that and that is why he didn't call him out when he won the title. Meanwhile, he wants to call out Maskaev who is old and beat an overrated champ who didn't even win his title. Sergei, on the other hand, is serious threat. He has decent pop, he can box, has a chin and is smart in the ring. No way Kilitchko can match uo with that.

He has done without the holding before and he's been successful do you people not remember the pre-Lamon Brewster Wlad?

Wladimir has changed his style but just because he holds doesn't mean every prick who dislikes him can discredit what he's done....You think the Sam Peter fight would have been different if he didn't hold? I do I think he would have used the left hook a little more and KO'd that fat bastard.

As for Sergei, it's plenty easy to write an open letter to Wlad but you know it wasn't that long ago when Don King was trying to match you up with Kevin McBride so the shit talking doesn't really suit your situation. Lyakhovich can take a punch and he's been a sparring partner for Wlad and I heard they went to war with each other...Sergei can't punch at least not hard enough to rock Wlad with 1 shot he'd have to accumulate damage over a couple rounds. Wlad can outbox Sergei and he can KO him too and I really don't see a reason for this fight to be made November 11th, Sergei needs a title defense before Wlad gets in with him....we all know Wlad can defend a belt he's done it before Sergei hasn't.

Wlad would punish Sergei rather easily however with that chin anything is possible with him.

Trust me, just the thought of that fight must give Wlad nightmares. I don't expect him to take the fight and if he does, I'd be happy to make a paypal bet with anyone who disagrees. Especially Lyle.

So why didn't he call him out when he beat Brewster. Meanwhile he calls out Maskaev while the ref is still counting out Rahman. I know alot of Wlad fans don't wanna see it but, he is a coward. It's all a bit odd don't you think Sergei was going to fight McBride then all of a sudden this "I walways wanted to fight Wlad" bullshit comes out.

You can doubt Wlad all you want but he'd beat ALL of the title holders pretty easy

I don't know who I'd favor, tough fight, I guess i'd favor Wlad slightly but its a good fight and Sergei would be a very live underdog IMO. I'm just not sure when Wlad became invulnerable, so dominant compared to everyone else. It must have been the Peter fight, cause I don't see how the Byrd fight could have really changed everyone's opinion.
