I think Margarito would destroy williams similar to what happend to Cintron. I think Williams vs Chavez jr would be more competative and more exciting.

Cintron can't box nearly as consistently as Williams can.Quote:

I say let the young man go for it...Williams is quick he has good accuracy and he has the workrate to give ANYONE at 147 all they can handle
Is it true Williams is ranked number 1 in all 4 major organisations? If so then this kids handlers have done an exceptional job. 25 years old 31-0 and ranked #1 nice...

and youre forgetting that margarito leaves himself just as open as williams, this is one of many BETTER options that margarito has as an alternative to clottey (whos another solid prospect in my book)
I'd like to see him fight Cintron,I want to gauge how good he is,the Shrmba fight,as impressive as it was, showed me nothing,if he is that open and Cintron lands those bombs,it could be all over. Would be a good fight for Tony, but I think Margarito's experience would show out. Clottey is a good fight for now, then maybe Williams or Collazo then Toy will have beaten some WW monsters and should call out everyone, then we shall see who is ducking!
Chavez jr sucks, hes only known coz of his old man.Quote:

I say let him go at Margarito!
Let Quintana have a crack at him, Quintana loves exposing prospects!!!
He's the mandatory for Margarito so after the Clottey fight, Margarito should take it. Has he really earned it, I don't know, for a guy with 30 fights he's been matched pretty soft, but its not a bad fight and he does look somewhat promising.
But I do have a feeling that, because there's such a backlash against Margarito from the PBF fans, that if Margarito took the fight and then beat Williams, some people who've talked up Williams would pull a 360 and talk about how untested he was, and what a garbage fighter he was.
Quintana would outbox him IMO. To me, he's the best prospect at 147.Quote:

He needs to take his time since he didn't have an amateur career, he does seem to be improving a bit though.
cc bro, the boys got skills!Quote:

Actually just saw Floyd transcript on boxingtalk saying that even if Tony beats Williams or vise versa, would prove nothing. That is a joke! Williams is correct,I don't think lil Floyd wants any part of these big boys at WWQuote:

Judah, hell even Mayorga or Spinks, Forrest or Quartey are around. Start fighting some names. If he strings together enough good wins over the likes of Cintron, Clottey, Williams & Quintana he starts looking appealing.Quote:

Clottey(will be bloody tough)
Williams
Quintana/Collazo/Mosley
If he beats 2 of those, that's great and no one can deny him. They are ALL dangerous in 1 way or another.Remember all Baldo did is beat Zab and a shot Gatti,so Tony's wins over the above mentioned guys would be sensational resume wise.
I agree with most of what you say, but if he beats 2 as you say it looks more than likely it would be Clottey (no givin) & then Williams. Doesn't look that great to me. But add a Quintana & Collazo then things look interesting. Remember Baldomir's beat Judah who was the world welterweight champion coming in. I'm not saying wins over those guys for Margarito wouldn't be sensational but the only guy you mention who is a former champion is Mosley.Quote:
