If you could make any 1 fight in any era happen ?

So any fight in any one time period which didnt happen but should have, what would you have liked to see

Just name ONE fight!

( i know this topic is done to death but lets have another)

Mine will be :

Chris Eubank vs Roy Jones Junior in about 1994

There are of course some great fights involving a prime tyson, but visually i think Eubank vs Jones would be a very unpredictable and interesting fight to watch between two great minds .

Joe Calzaghe v Roy Jones Jr.
1999-2001. A fairly new WBO champion against a legend of his era at his peak. Through my Welsh rose tinted specs, I'd give Joe a good shot at it, because of workrate, punches thrown, and his granite jaw. RJJ would probably have the class to edge it, but I would see it as a pendulum type fight, with momentum swinging back and forth, and maybe, just maybe, Calzaghe getting a SD.

Nah bro not crazy I to would love to see this fight, Calderon sorta reminds me of Lopez & Kyowa is got a heap of talent.

A fight I would have liked to see would have been Ricardo Lopez Vs Machael Carbajal.

Or Marco Antonio Barrera Vs Tim Austin at Bantam.

Eh. I've got a problem with predicting a fight to go on cuts. Just something I've never done but could very well happen.

Hatton is short and stocky, at 140 that helps against a guy who relys so heavily on body shots. Chavez was probably a better boxer and had more ring smarts but I don't know, and this sounds absolutely insane, if he would be able to brawl with Hatton. I mean Hatton does a lot of wrestling, and it takes a lot to even stay on your feet when he does that. Definiely affects the opponent and I don't think anyone ever tried to throw Chavez around like Hatton would. Just a small aside.

It would be a toss up imo. BRUTAL fight.

It would decide just who was the greatest fighter lb for lb who ever lived.
I'd take Roy Jones by UD myself. Both had tremendous speed and power, but I think Roy was faster and more elusive.

are you insane?! jones has no chin probably never did. the first guy whoput pressure on him and really wanted to beat him did.(tarver I) then the second fight he knocked him out. i say your as good as your resume says you is and jones never got to prove himself (not his fault) but he couldnt stand up to the smoothest most buitiful boxer/puncher ever to lace up the gloves. i wonder have you ever watched a robinson fight? robinson bye tko in the middle rounds, and that if roy ran like a dog. if he didnt then he would go early.

Aaron Pryor v Sugar Ray Leonard over 15 rounds in the early 80s.

Also pryor v JCC or Tzsyu too. He's may favourite 'what if?' fighter.

but that would have been a disaster for Jones, especially if that fight were to take place after G man's demise, That G Man situation really got into Roy's head, and actually changed the way Jones fought, from that point on he took very little offensive risks.
