if it's in the USA I think Judah has a tremendous shot at beating Hatton...In Britian I think Hatton would be allowed to roughhouse way too much and you know Judah can't hold it together when the going gets tough.Quote:

I think going back down to 140 is the best decision either of these guys can make, They would be great for matchin up against JLC and D-hop and Witter and Maussa.
I think Hatton would wear Zab out. Once Judah gets a taste of a few of Hattons body shots he will start running trying to avoid them like the plague. Hatton by decision.
I hate this one cause I think Judah has loads more talent than Hatton, but I see Hatton winning by KO.
I'm not even sure if it would be that good of a match up. I'm not sure how much I like Hatton, but I feel he would be way too much for Judah to handle. The questionably weak mentality of Judah would crumble under Hatton's pressure!
Agreed. :coolclick:Quote:

But if the fight got tough and past 5 or 6 I agree Judah would crumble.Quote:

Guy has talent, but Zab Judah is not a smart enough fighter to beat Ricky Hatton. Plain and simple. Hatton stoppage.
To repeat what others have said--if Judah can catch Ricky early on, he could win by KO or cuts stoppage. He'd win at least 4 out of the first 6 rounds no matter what. If he couldn't end it--or significantly slow down Hatton--in those rounds, he'd likely give up and give up a lot of later rounds, and possibly get KO'd. So either guy could win by some kind of stoppage--Zab early or Hatton late. But if it went to the cards, I think it's a very close fight (Zab, as the more skilled boxer, dominates early and fades late).
Judah. Hatton can't fight southpaws very well. And Judah hits harder then Magee and Collazo.
Collazo had more natural power,I don't know how it works but I think Hatton could take Judah's shots. He took Tszyu's and Tszyu probably hits harder than Collazo too,it's the natural strength and natural weight factor. Judah can't take preussre,at 140,Hatton is a muachine,he would smother Judah, and eventually KO him,by banging his body,Hatton TKO/KO 8 at the latest. If it is stateside,Hatton again,1 round later.Quote:

Different leverage and everything else. A fighter can not be hurt by a bigger puncher and be out on his feet by a lighter puncher in my opinion. So I don't think you can compare two punchers like that. After all Joe Morales nearly knocked Juarez out and Barerra never had him hurt.Quote:

He'll look good for a few rounds, then Hatton will take over. Zab can't take pressure,Hatton has too much. And Zab does not have one punch power imo. How do you propose he wins?
I think Zab or Hatton could win with a body attack. Although Hatton may have taken Tszyu shots. Another reason I don't think that Tszyu didn't hurt Hatton and Collazo did was because he punched from better angles then the straight line Tszyu punched in. I think Zab may have more in uncompared to Tszyu's power of course. But I think when Tszyu only landed one shot Judah could land 5 and there's a difference that Judah can fight on the inside and Tszyu needs distance.
What do you think?
Just out of interest, when did Jab fight on the inside? I totally disagree, like I sad,Ricky brings too much pressure and pain and if Baldo can send Zab into a shell,so can Ricky and I hardly ever see Zab going to the body and nor have I seen Hatton hurt to the body. I think you are right that Zab could land more but Hatton could smother him too!
Zab fights on the inside a lot in his earlier fights he just didn't have to because of his jab. Then again Zab used to also keep his hands up ;)

Just because you survive getting hit by a train doesn't mean you should jump in front of a tow truck.
Hatton at light welter would be far too much for Judah to handle knowing how easily Super boy crumbles. Hatton late stoppage/KO.
cc bro I agree, sure Judah got caught & did his little dance but fact of the matter is Judah was on his feet & clear eyed by the count of 8. Ref shouldn't have stopped the fight. Judah should have f*cked him up. If Judah had have stayed down for a few seconds to get his bearings he wouldn't have fallen again, & the fight would have gone on. Look at that 1st round with Tszyu Judah was kicking his a**, if the fight had continued I feel Judah would have won as he wouldn't have been as careless.Quote:

Hatton can box beautifully too, although that side of his game has been lacking since / during the Tszyu fight.
Zab has power speed and is a southie, which often troubles Ricky and has a great chance...
...but ultimately my money would be on the Hitman.
