who would win out of this one ??
bruno is too big.
Heavy weights from that Era are much bigger than Henry Cooper's (you didn't have cruiserweight or light heavy)... and Cooper wasn't a particularly big Heavyweight back then
Agreed. Bruno is too big and strong for "Our 'enry". Bruno also had an extremely effective jab, Cooper would have issues getting in close....Quote:

Cooper would give Bruno some scares in between don't get it twisted. Cooper had heart but still Bruno would get a KO by the 5th or so.
brunos sheer size and ramrod jab would probably force a stoppage by cuts midway. cooper by todays standards was a cruiserweight
;) I am not a big cooper fan , but if he connected with his left hook bruno would be counted out . ali had one of the best chins in boxing dont forget that, and he was truly dropped to the canvas.
Sorry but Bruno was the worst HW ever and weak minded. Henry wins. Are you guys serious? Cooper was in Ali's league, you think Bruno was too?
While there is no doubt that Henry Cooper was a better boxer then Bruno, Bruno would win becuase of the size difference.
It would depend on which Frank Bruno turned up - the huge, musclebound guy who handled Witherspoon, Smith and Lewis for a long while - or the small Italian jockey.
Yeah, Cooper always had trouble with Jockeys.
AdamGB, your humour is as predictable as Jimmy Carr and as funny as Jim Davidson
;D
Well you are funny as Jimmy carr and as predictable as Jim Davidson :P
What weight is jimmy Carr never heard of him. Davidson was a fair bantam
Bruno dismantles Cooper very, very easily.
Bruno KO1, Cooper is way too small, and his chin was not so hot either ;)
Cooper always handled bigger men movers he had trouble with. Its not as clear cut as some think.
I certainatly don't think that Bruno would walk straight through Cooper, its likely he would be too big but there is a chance Cooper gets it, just not a very large one in my opinion :P
Id go with Frank but I wouldnt put my house on it
Davidson knocks carr out in the sixth
It's about styles.Quote:

Bruno ("the worst heavyweight ever" ???) stopped Tillis and Ribalta (who Tyson couldn't stop) knocked out both Coetzees, beat Carl Williams,Oilver McCall, led Witherspoon and Lewis, before his defence gave in.
Bruno aint a great, but sure as hell aint the worst
i actually think brunos skills are underrated he had decent jab only problem was when he got hit with good punch he didnt know how to survive he didnt have survival instincts like ali holmes ect
100% agreeQuote:

yea i just think he lacked survival instinct and he was too muscley i think that was problem with stamina issues
Pressure rather than Stamina was Bruno's problem IMO.Quote:

But put him in a pressure situation, even when he is in the lead, he is in dire straits, weather that is the third round (TysonII), the seventh (Lewis), eighth (Gross), tenth (Smith/Williams), eleventh (Whitherspoon) or twelve (McCall), hell even Eklund gave him some dodgy moments early, and lets not forget Jumbo ;D; I am sure Lawless hasn't ;)
yea i watched that jumbo cummings fight recently i was lmao how excited harry got lol
