Speculation as to James Toney's official weight for this Saturday.

I don't think he will come in above his carreer high of last fight, but I still put him over 230!

Personally i think hes sheded a few pounds so i will go with 220-230.

My money is on 225

I cannot see it; it is becoming increasingly obvious IMO, that the reason he succeeded at Heavyweight, was because he took steroids ;)

Now if proved wrong, I will happily eat Humble pie, as pre Drug test failure I was Toney's biggest fan on this site.

I think he is taking this bout serious enough to come in the 220-230 range. He knows if he comes in out of shape and unable to move good then he could be in some serious trouble. I think he has to much pride to let that happen.

i think its fair to say hes a great who will be remembered for a fair while.
he didn't let anyone down, he lives his own life and his problems are his problems, and he jus keeps on fighting regardless or wieght health or anything else. hes entertainin to watch always , i dont care if he still fighting at 70.

how do you know for sure that it was steroids he took though? ( not getting on your case u understand)
its jus he said it was for a shoulder injury, others said it was wieght loss some say its steroids, i never officially found out what it was. and im pretty sure it wasnt all his career, if anything more then a one off , i mean its not seldom that fighters get health checks and medicals so as to go through with fights and if he had of done them that much im sure he would have had his liscence taken away by now!!

It was perscribed by a doctor so.....how did he let the sport down by doing what a doctor said ::** And they said they found traces of a chemical that was used in anothert steroid.. and that means what? There's lots of traces of other chemicals in medicines and perscribed steroids. Shoot if Toney ate a poppi seed muffin before the fight he would have tested positive for Heroin ::**

If there was ever a reason to stop supporting a fighter, it is because they took steroids.

I just hope he doesn't do what Danny Williams did against Skelton and come in at an all time high, to be honest though I'm expecting it really.

Toney to come in at 235-238

230 lbs. Although I doubt it will matter. I see a KO for Peter around 6.

Toney's gotta come in around 230, I'd love to see him weigh less but I think 230 is realistic. Either way Peter gets a lesson!!!

If Toney comes in at 225 I'll be impressed, if he makes it to 230 I'd be happy! I think Toney will be motivated, this is his biggest challenge since Jirov.

For a man of his height, I'm sure that Toney's body mass index is likely to be worse than mine!!!! He needs to be on the lighter end of his range if he is to do really well in my view.
