WOW!!!
What do you think would have happened?
It would have been one hell of a fight, with punches and counters thrown from angles we didnt know were possible.
Something tells me Naz by SD :o

naz keeps hes hands too low and he gets tagged too easily so mayweather wins
I think Mayweather embarrases him and possibly knocks him out.Quote:

Floyd destroys him... He is faster, smarter.
Mayweather would put on a better clinic than Barrera did!!!
C'mon, Naz was an intriguing character and ONE of the best junior featherweights of his day but can we move on?
Now, a better question, a prime Butterbean vs. Carl Weathers?
PBF by UD
Also, Floyd would have had a better ring entrance to boot.
Naz was an incredible athletic talent...Keyword being "Athletic" he had speed, power, elusiveness.. My point is Naz was a technical and fundamental mess period!!!! Floyd is on a whole different planet than Naz left himself exposed because he didn't fill in the gaps to well Floyd would make him pay everysingle time..
Floyd on the other hand is as athletic as they have evercome but he puts his athleticism 2nd priority 1st priority being his Boxing attributes..Floyd is a polished Diamond of Fundamentals Skills, Defensive wizardry and an absolute Mastermind in the ring to go along with his speed, power and elusiveness.
Floyd would beat him so onesided it would be ridiculous by either TKO or UD...
you have fallen of the wagon or drank from the koolaide once to often....PBF beats Naz in any form...it just depends on how PBF wants to win....Quote:

I remember once on this forum there was a topic of Nas vs Pernel Whittaker at 135, and it wen't on 4 or 5 pages with mixed opinions.. this is almost as ridiculous but at least people aren't picking Nas this time.. What a joke.
OMG Pernell would absolutely terrorise Naz making him look shit.
The prince would not know what hit him. He would come into the ring a Prince and leave the ring as a Pauper.
No Match, PBF would make Naz cry in frustration.
im going with mayweather
Hmmmmmmmm Probably the greatest boxer of the last ten years, technically and athletically. against a boxer whose defence is a complete joke? Thats tough to call. But i'd have to go for a Pbf Ko by R4. Would be interesting to see if Naz landed some of those bombs tho.
i think if judah managed to take mayweather of balence and kelly managed to do that to naz it might b decided by who kept there balence most to survive a 10-8 round :P
Mayweather wins easily.
Naz's awkward style would have given Floyd fits. Floyd likes predictable fighters . Naz by Ko in this one.Quote:

This would be worse than calzaghes schoolin of Lacy but i doubt naz would make it to the score cards like lacy did.
I hate Naz and i think Mayweather would win but it wouldn't be as one sided as people think the Barrera and Naz fight was even after 8 rounds i believe then Barrera won next 3 and was going to win 4th round in a row but lost a point i had Barrera winning by 3 points and it wasn't the schooling that everyone keeps saying i hate Naz's guts and i always wanted him to lose and he would lose to Mayweather but not as one sided as people think.Quote:

Still Maintaining Floyd takes, Naz to the woodshed and just humiliates him, Imagine the pre fight Flamboyance by the 2 of them.... That would be more entertaining than the drubbing Floyd would give Naz
I never seen anything like that naz.. The wife and I watched a Documentary on him training for the Barrera fight.. The funniest thing I have ever seen. kept yelling at the wife, "come look at this Muppet you won't believe this shit." We had a great laugh on that.Quote:

Something tells me you've lost your mind on this one. ;) JK bro...but Floyd hasn't lost yet, he has been consistently moving up weight divisions and taking their titles...what has Naz been doing?Quote:

I think Floyd would just give him a beating. Prince always has the puncher's chance, but I think Floyd would exploit his shotty defense and balance with his handspeed.
Floyd would have toyed with Naz at 130. It would have been a blowout.
In fact, Larry Merchant said it best in the ring after Floyd demolished Corrales...
Larry asked Floyd who he wanted to fight next, and Floyd said a few names, and he also said he'd like to fight Naz. Merchant laughed and said, "Floyd, that will never happen. After seeing what you did to Corrales tonight, Hamed doesn't want any part of you."
And he was right.
you make an excellent point there.. Naz left himself shit after throwing shots. chin in the air, hands down..a counter punchers dream. I think you changed my mind. cc #43Quote:

mmm....Hamed's only fight against an elite fighter was Barrera and he got his ass handed to him. Mayweather would have not broken a sweat beating him.Quote:

I'd pick Floyd too but if we're talking prime Naz it'd be close.
I get the impression that alot of people are basing what they know of Naz on the Barrera fight or at least fights towards the end of his career. He was ruined by then and a very poor version of the Naz 4/5 years earlier. Saying he was easy to hit is a prime example of this. A prime Naz has better reflexes than anyone Mayweather has fought.
Common sense says Floyd easy,
But you gotta admit there is always the chance of an upset with Nas around, his power was p4p legendary
While I think Floyd would have won because Naz doesn't know how to defend, I think you're underestimating how fast Naz was and how hard he could punch. I've heard people say he was overrated, which was bullshit because he was never knocked out. He had one bad day against Barrera and that was it.Quote:
