eh, not without healthrisks, no....So i won't give them.
The only advise i can give you is to next time, monitor your weight sooner. But that isn't helping you now....
thats about 2.5 kg in my country of KG's hmm ive never expected going over weight in a weigh in. since im yet to have my first fight! but if u do beat this tell us how you did it?
im guessing this is an amatuer bout, you are allowed a 3kg difference between you and your opponant which i think is about 6lb so you should be alright unless your opponant weighs in light
Depends on your country. Here in holland, we have weightcategories. My first bout will be in the 80-85kg. I'll 80kg, my opponent will be 84kg (so +4) and that's ok, as long as you are in the same category.Quote:

You can here as well, but then the fighter in the lower weightclass is always the winner, exept if the heavier fighter wins bij knock out, but then still the lighter fighter gets an honourable notice in the books.Quote:

I weight 81kg, she ways 83kg (so both in 80-85, and also just 2kg difference) the boxer with the most points wins.
I've seen it happen on the dutch championships. A friend of my gym weighted just 1 kg to heavy, she was with distance the better boxer and her opponent was almost crying (no joke!) but she lost the bout, and the crying opponent, who was lucky to make maybe a few points, got the win and the dutch championship. Here it's called a performance-match.
That's why i'm working my hardest to get to the 75 kg max, where the opponents are (in lady-heavyweight there is besides me just one other opponent (80-85kg)

That Would Suck To Be And A Crappy Gym And Not Get Taught Crap Like With Ali His First Gym Was Just For Show Like He Would be On Tv And Stuff And they WOuld Just Through Heymakers The Whole Time..

but i hope it is a good gym. CUz I would Hate To have A Trainer that I Know More About Boxing Then he does And Were I Live I Dont have much choices well i have no choices its either thsi gym thats 115 miles away or a gym thats 200 or more miles away :-\
