So who wins and how?
hatton by KO is what i would see happening
No way i see Hatton knocking Baldomir out, i think it would be close, hard to see if Rick could have it all his own way.Quote:

Yep hard for Ricky to bully a bigger Bully.Quote:

I think your right but it was more the fact he had 6 1/2 weeks to transfrom weights for the first time and was fighting a southpaw, it would be a very close fight, and if anyone wants to compare the Gatti otcome is foolish, Gatti is a second rate fighter who has been soundly outclassed many times when fighting the elite. Id say SD Hatton.Quote:

Its tough to call but this is a much better style matchup for Hatton, itd be a close quarters fight and I'd probably lean towards Hatton by a close decision cause he's got shorter, more compact punches.
I am a huge Hatton fan, however, I think it remains to be seen if Hatton can compete at the top tier at 147 at this time. At 140 he is one of the very best. Why wouldn't he stay at 140 and have the fighters come to him?? What is so wrong with being the very best 140 lb fighter in the world? C/
Lets be real folks:
Hatton & Floyd can both deal with Baldy and we all know it.
Knock Baldy out? prob not - but it would bea Hatton out of the 2 i would bet on if i had to.
However Floyd would have the wider points win.
What is all this rating business about my name on the side of the forum???
It means Cool Click or Sad Click people are able to give you which one they like usually after you make a good or bad point.Quote:

the only comparison that can be made between colazo and baldomir is that they re both welters. colazo is a much slicker and quicker fighter than baldomir. and he's a southpaw and throws more punches. hatton would beat baldomir. i wont say easily because hatton never has an easy nights work because of his style. but hatton by wide UD or late stopage.
Nicely putQuote:

And now about the fight?
Who knows. I think both fighters are very strong and fair well in the bully Dept.
Hatton has the advantage at 140 and Baldi has the advantage at 147.
Catch weight time :)!
Catch weight?? Baldomir is a huge welterweight probably walks around over 175, no chance this is catch weight, this fight would never happen anyway, Floyd will school him and Baldy will find it hard to get another shot at his age, like i said earlier close fight i cant see a knockout id put money on it going to the scorecards, i think Rickys workrate would win the day but like i said how much of his own way will Blady let him have not sure close call id say 60/40 Ricks way in my mind.Quote:

If that was what was cause hatton to have problems, then Baldimir who may be the strongest 147 fighter out their would surely give him a run for his money.Quote:

I think whoever wins would win by points,I'da favour Hatton slightly.
Hatton has very underrated boxing skills.
Anybody remember his fights with Ben Tacky and Vince Phillips?
Hatton would win on points not by KO.
