I was on my way to turn pro after a amateur "career" but I broke my right hand...and then I just finished the university....no more time for boxing...
guess that waht happened to me was good..

And John Scully and Stacy Goodson both come to this place a bit. Scully is a REAL good poster, but Goodson usually only comes around to promote his Arkansas cards and never answers any questions.

Iceman JDS. Not many post for whatever reason but he frequents a lot of forums and although he never post to much, still a fine guy to learn from. Also writing a book.

there was a guy on saddo who went pro hmmmmmm cant remember his sn name but his real name was like RUIZ, Jonathon Ruiz i believe was his name.

I was talking about Stacy with the questions. I have questions bout his fighters and I've gotten responses, but never anything close to a straight forward answer.

Didn't that ricanchamp guy become the champion of Puerto Rico or something?
Apparently he was a monster for his weight. He used to commentate on his own fights live on his laptop in between rounds if I remember correctly.
And he always used to win.
He was awesome.

Yup. Good samaritan to. Really had a head on his shoulders. Who can forget his legendary bout in that rich guy's backyard fighting for beaten wives. It's a shame Daniel Santos ducked him like he did.
Didn't he say that he fought JCC Jr. in the amatuers? :D

I was Canadian Goju ryu full contact Karate champion 2 years in a row..way back in the day!!! lol should have been a boxer maybe would have got paid!! I'll put my kids into boxing b4 martial arts now....well maybe teach em a few chokes first!

i too was a TKD/Kickboxing champ during my teen years too, but those things was hella unfair I either outweighed my opponents significantly or I dominated them unfairly with my speed cuz they were hella chubby????
plus i got the natural talent blood in me cuz my dad was a 9th degree grandmaster who taught the US special forces in NAM.

LMAO.....i should put my kids into mma but they do hockey lacrosse and football already...my boys are 9,11 and 14 and girl 15. my 11 year old boy weighs 227 lbs wears size 11 mens shoe! has a 51 inch chest and 28 inch rock solid legs!!! love to see him in a mma agains ANY 11 year old!! he'd twist the kids head off and eat it!!
