Pacquiao/Morales III is going to be a stinker!

Well, there most likely will be a brutal Pac KO in the early rounds for some limited excitement, but the fight will not even be the least bit competitive.

Why? Morales is completely shot as a fighter...and, and...this is a big and...his corner is complete CRAP. Massaging his legs in the last fight??? WTF was that? That was the absolutle last thing he needed at the time.

Ol' Erik eeeeeked out a decision in the first fight and goes on to get completely destroyed by Raheem. Then, gets KTFOd by Pac in the rematch as was expected because he was long, long SHOT as a fighter.

And now he gets third fight??? Who the hell even wants to see this fight? Let alone lay down 50 bucks to see a walking stiff get KOed?? I'd rather watch a early Tyson fight for free on ESPN Classic.

Morales is done, completely and definitively. This fight is a joke.

first of all, EM is highly motivated on this one...he is determined to take himself in the winning track once more and more importantly, avenging his most embarrassing loss(so far) from the hands of PAC...

EM is a fighter and a proud Mexican warrior, he wouldn't go out without dishing a very competitive fight...

I say, we will get our money's worth, every single penny of it, specially if you are a PAC fan. ;D

Morales did not eek out a decision in the first fight, he completely outfought Manny and decisevely handed him his ass, the only reason it was even close is because Morales fought southpaw in the 12th ,and still Pac wasn't really getting the better of him.. I can see where your coming from, Morales has looked shot in his last 2 fights, but he looked much better in the rematch with Pac then he did against Raheem, and with the training and nutrition regime he is under for this fight he could possibly have another great performance left... I think the discouraging thing for MOrales fans is that he demanded the rematch so soon after Pac beat him, he doesn't really know if he can get back into great shape or not, he just said make the fight and then Ill try.. I would have liked to see him take a tune up and prove he was better conditioned, then call for the rematch.

Your saying it wont be comptetive all the fights listed above were short but they were also competetive even the old JCC got 1 or 2 shots into ODLH....The only way it wont be a comptetive fight is if your gonna tie up Eriks hands cuz other then that regardless if hes loosing those hands of his will be swinging away.

CC Mick, great points.. The 2nd fight was a great fight as well, I didn't see anything there that suggested Erik couldn't beat PAc, but he definetly needs to improve his conditioning and box more if he want's any chance of doing so this time around.

I'm just being real I wan't Erik to win but something is betraying my thoughts on the fight.....

Iswear in all honesty even IF I knew that the outcome of the fight was gonna be a PAC victory and theres was some way for me to stop it from happening I wouldn't. I am not a Pac fan persay, nor am I Morales hater.  It's just that this is not the "superfight" PPV fight that some would like to believe it is.  In the fights you mentioned everyone had every reason to be thinkt they would be competitive fights.  Events leading up to this third fight show otherwise; specifically, that everything points to Erik getting KTFOd.

According to your criteria, you would think any bum thrown in with Pac would be a competitive fight becuase he would have two hands and would be swinging them.  ???  Sure, I'll agree that right up untill Morales is KTFOd, he will be swinging away.  That in no way makes for a competitve fight.  Chuck me in there with Pac, and Ill swing away for the 20 sec it takes me to get KOed.  Still not a competitive fight.

A mistake from Eric is trying to give the fans a good exciting fight like he has said before on other fights: "Yes, I was already winning on points and it was the last round but I wanted to give the fans an exciting fight so I went in there and exchanged punches".

Eric fought a smart fight on their first fight. Whenever Pac charged with his typical one-two attack Eric would just move to the side like a Matador and maintain his distance with his long jab and straight right to earn him and EASY desicion with a clean face and PAC quite not the same.

On the second fight he wanted to "make it exciting" and that was a mistake.

i calculated their chances of winning against pac and it was 39.26% for EM and 31.28% for MAB

1st fight - Manny has some issues, blood loss, business, gloves, etc.... Well, most legit would be blood loss

2nd fight - Erik weight drained not 100%, bad conditioning.

And my hats off to Manny if allowing EM the 132 lb limit is true. He really wants to fight the best EM.

Yeah! Manny stated that a week before the fight the hospital that took his blood sample lost his and would have to take a certain amount of blood for him to be cleared to fight and he was already on diet then to make the 130 limit.

anyone try telling this kid this site is for boxing fans and not for haters..... they arent even good points for why it will be a crap fight... i mean hes like oh erik shot erik shot.. how he shot? he lost a couple fights he shot... thats not a reason

Morales is SHOT, not to mention he has about the worst corner since Tyson for the Douglas fight. Massaging his legs DURING the fight? His trainer and corner are a complete joke... Morales did not eek out a decision in the first fight, he completely outfought Manny and decisevely handed him his a**, the only reason it was even close is because Morales fought southpaw in the 12th ,and still Pac wasn't really getting the better of him.. I can see where your coming from, Morales has looked shot in his last 2 fights, but he looked much better in the rematch with Pac then he did against Raheem, and with the training and nutrition regime he is under for this fight he could possibly have another great performance left... I think the discouraging thing for MOrales fans is that he demanded the rematch so soon after Pac beat him, he doesn't really know if he can get back into great shape or not, he just said make the fight and then Ill try.. I would have liked to see him take a tune up and prove he was better conditioned, then call for the rematch. [/quote]

i hope you're not fielding an excuse for Morales' expected loss. He's a shot fighter. Pac will knock him out again. If Eric runs, Pac will chase him until he gets tired and ready for the kill.

This fight is not going to be a stinker. It might look like the first and second match-up but no way in hell will EM fight like MAB fought Juarez. EM have so much pride to hotdog his way to victory he might brawl early and get himself kayoed in the process but definitely won't jab his way to a win.
I'll hate Morales if he doesnt go to a toe to toe war against Pacquiao :)

i hope you don't do the same when they mount Morales on their shoulders after his victory, and present him as the new #1 fighter in the division, he's far from shot, and unlike Pacquiao, he's not one sided either, and as for Pacquiao going in for the kill, yea he couldn't do it early against Marquez, he wont do it against Morales, this fight is going to be a spitting image of the first, only difference is that Morales is going to win even more clearly and quite possibly stop Pacquiao, even in the rematch Pacquiao was hurt and wobbled at times, so all you Pacheads stop riding his dick and get real about it, Pacquiao isn't invincible, he's already been KO'd by two not one two nobodies, Morales has the better chin, and skills and even has better power, just rewatch the first fight and Morales punches were harder and moved Pacquiao back every time they landed, Manny's only advantages are, his speed, stamina (and depends, he has come into a fight without the best conditioning before), and his winning streak, nothing else, again Morales is far from being shot, he still has the tools and ability to beat and even stop Pacquiao, i'm happy with whichever fighter wins, cause i know like the first two, both men will earn their win, just stop making it fucking seem like Morales got lucky the first time and that Pacquiao gave Morales a shutout and finished him, that's not the story at all, Morales owned Pacquiao and schooled him the first fight (although competitive) 116-112 by me, and Pac stopped Morales after seizing control after a close fought 10 rounds (had Pacquiao only one round ahead by the time of the stoppage) 86-85 for Pacquiao, both fights were good hard fights, and both men did everything to earn their individual wins, so stop fucking making it seem like Pacquiao was the only one who did enough to deserve a damn rematch :bomb: :bomb: :bomb: :cwm23: :cwm23: >:mad :biting: >:mad :biting: >:mad

Exactly. Standing toe to toe and going to war is plain stupid. It's time for Morales to put his pride aside and fight smart. He has had enough "wars" for us to enjoy...he should fight intelligently and put his career back on track. I think as far as boxing I personally don't care how Erik wins just as long as he wins. If he can KO Pac goo, if he decisions Pac good, If Pac gets DQ'd for something good.
When you talk about MABs career and how Junior Jones beat him twice every now & then someone will say well one of them was by DQ and the other a close Decision. But for the most part all that matters is he beat him twice.

Though I do agree about the fashion in which a fight is won says a lot and leaves a mark, at this moement Erik just want's to win cause everyone is saying PACs gonna fly through him with flying colors so if he can flip the script regardless of the style in which he wins the fight thats a good thing.

It would be great to see Erik outbox PAC, the only thing that can stop him from that is bad conditioning, something similar to what MAB did to Juarez in their second match. Just completely throw off Pac for a loop.

The thing about PAC while I think he is a phenomenal boxer, I think he has too many distractions, running other businesses talks about retiring, I could easily see Morales being the more focused fighter and boxing his way to an easy UD, and I don't think people would forget that.

No offense to whoever said this, but trading with PAC is just stupid, can't really put it lightly. There is no point in guys just hammering away at each other when you know one is much stronger than the other.

The ONLY way for EM to win is to pick PAC apart, and not get caught with anything. That's how he won the first time, and why he lost the second.

Morales does have better POWER because he would hurt and wobble Pacquiao with just one punch, the only times that Pacquiao would hurt Morales were after flurries, and lots of them, so yea, if i guy can hurt you with one punch and it takes you at least 5 to have the same effect, usually the guy that it only took one punch to hurt you hits harder ::**, moron, speed=power, but don't get that confused with actual POWER PUNCHING, Pacquiao got the TKO becasue Morales was spent and out of gas, he still was fine mind wise, the TKO wasn't like if he knocked the hell out of Morales and put him to sleep, cause all of you even the Pacquiao nut huggers know that it's true

Im not a fan of either man but if I had to make a judgement of who has more power, id have to go with Manny . I havent seen any power form Morales for a while . Speed - I go with Manny also , at this stage id say he has the better stamina too . Although Manny boxed last time against Larios id say Erik still has teh better boxing ability and given Pacs two k.o defeats to bums id say Erik has the better punch resistance
