If you could build the perfect fighter?
If you could build the perfect fighter what would the breakdown be. I have to go with
Speed- Meldric Taylor
Power- Mike Tyson
Tactics/ring generalship- Sugar Ray Leonard
Chin- Mayorga (In his prime)
Defense- Pernell Whitaker
psych warfare- Muhammed Ali
Conditioning- Floyd Mayweather
I think that would build the perfect boxer.

I think his fighter would whip yours ;D Taylor was faster than Judah, Whittaker was definetly defensively better than Winky, Wright wouldn't dream of telling you differntly himself. Ali and Mayweather are also superior picks to Toney and Hatton imo.

Seriously, it looked like a scene in a cartoon short when he spit out his teeth, it's like he had a mouth full of teeth and he decided he'd spit them out. He may have been out from the punch but he was still there long enough to spit a fountain of teeth out...almost as if he was intending to do a mortal kombat fatality move on Jackson and it backfired ;D

Re: If you could build the perfect fighter?
so this is my perfect fighter ..... im gona make him a heavywieght becuase with all such attributes etc a heavywieght that owned all this would be unbeatable at a wieght where all great fighters have huge skills
and huge weaknesses give and take, so one with it all going for him would be unbeatable. bear in mind these attributes are based on p4p opinion example: tito would be my power pick... if it was carried perfectly 100% to heavywieght!! hope thats clear :P
power: tito trinidad
Speed: middlewieght roy jones i.e at the lower wieghts roy power came more from the great speed and snap of his punches rather then his strength.
Defence: although i think winky is prob the best out there right now, im not putting him down considering the style im setting up just wouldnt work as winky has a slow technical style instead of knockout power and charisma get my meaning?? so im going to say Pernell whitakker.
Reflexes: Roy jones junior probably at light heavy period.. though im not sure that it was better at this weight im just sure it was more evident i.e against fighters like kelly and hall. but he certainly didnt loose his reflexes on his journey to light heavy. this coupled with pernells crazy defense/reflexes (was somewhat also to do with his good defence)
Stamina/Conditioning: Some sort of mix between Pbf and Hatton ... for one ive seen hattons workout and his work rate for such periods and his endurance are insane... mainly coupled with floyds becuase he always looks in immense shape and ive never seen either of these fighters tired out!!
Popularity/Image: probably the popularity of tito, and the physique and good looks of Pbf :P
Nobody likes an ugly bastard!! lol kiddin....
Guts: a largish mix.... the great feathers and superfeathers like barrera, morales, paquioau (however its spelt ??? ) and thought obv not feather i'll include winky and jermaine taylor because these fighters are well known and well respected for taking on any opponent and whatever notice and have been fighting the very best without ducking people for years.
Slickness: Toney/Mayweather.. theyr both slick and both use the whole roll the shoulder counter teqnique, although lights out is more famous for it.
Agressiveness: Tyson. no arguements :P
Teqnique... a cross somewhere between the pretty looking shots that odlh throws and power somewhere between tito and tyson... more towards tyson for the decisive one shot stoppage power... but if tito were heavywieght ... i dunno?
thats all i can think of at the mo if i think of another attribute i would give to this fighter.... i might slip it in later .. lol
peace

Bomber probably had the best reflexes I've ever seen in his younger days, but Mayweather's defense is more skilful the way he can just roll his shoulders to avoid or parry.

Yes Herol's defense was more on a whim and reflexes and Mayweathers defense still stays basic enough to stay with him into his thirties.
Anyway,
Mike Nunn - cocaine = The Perfect fighter
