Hard-hitting, Celestino Caballero dethroned Somsak Sithchatchawal by technical knockout, flooring him three times in the third round in Thailand Wednesday to claim the WBA super bantamweight title. The 30-year-old Caballero (25-2, 18 KOs) is incredibly tall by super bantamweight standards, standing nearly 6'2. He is co-promoted by Sycuan Ringside Promotions and Seminole Warriors Boxing. Interim champ Celestino Caballero (25-2, 18 KOs) shocked the Thai crowd as he destroyed Somsak Sithchatchawal (46-2-1, 37 KOs) to unify the WBA super bantamweight title on Wednesday at Wat Banrai in Nakornrachasima Province, Thailand.

The bout was a close affair in the first two rounds but in round three, the Panamanian landed an accurate uppercut that dropped the local hero, then he wildly stalked the now former champion and successfully floored Somsak twice more, forcing the referee to stop the bout in this round.

This was a huge upset of Somsak, who had impressively captured the WBA belt from Mahyar Monshipour earlier this year in France but then unexpectly lost the title in his hometown in his first defense.

A crowd of 5,000 was on hand to see the bout, which took place in a remote corner of the country to honor an ailing 83-year-old monk whom many Thais believe has healing powers.

6' 2" for a Super Bantamweight when on avg. a Bantamweight is between 5' 5" thru about 5' 8"

You also forgot to mention the 'World Promotional Tour' that Don had him doing, and also he had lost a diamond earing a few days prior to the fight and that he was having personal issues cause he didn't like the way he looked in the little bit*h (ooopppss!) I mean little kim video. Please ::**
Hes 'suppose' to be a vet. of the sport and a profesional if he put as much energy on his boxing like he does on running his mouth and his life outside of the sport hed be doing something right now as far as boxing goes.
But hes not cause guess where hes at?

Bojado got involved with the MMA after the fact not before.

And you're right I don't believe Bojado can come back and make a difference in boxing. I just don't but at least I keep it real with myself you you're just full of make believe fairy tails and *facts & lies that you come up with.

Apparently they fought in this really poor region in North Thailand at an old buddhist temple. Apparently the crowd was just local farmers, literally cows were walking around outside the arena, and there are pretty much just dirt roads coming in and out of the area.

Its possible, I just think it might take a while, even the Valero fight took a while.

I'm keeping an eye out for it too on this one site I go too.

Edit: Some promising news, supposed to be rebroadcast on Japanese TV sometimes this weekend, may not be, but supposedly it is so there's a better chance of it getting out if it does.

I watched the last video. That looks like quite a fight! But looking at his style if he's the lanky one, I'm not surprised that he got beaten by that tall guy. He may not be the book on boxing, but he sure can make the comic book! And we all know, comic books are more exciting!

LMAO,they fought near a temple and the crowd were farmers?! That's hardcore and I doubt anyone there was recoding it!! I don't think they know that there are hardcore boxing fans out there who know who they are! I'm still looking but no luck thus far!
