leonard is prolly one of best skilled boxers ive ever seen his without a doubt in my top ten list

only man to beat him in his prime was duran and that was because he brawled and didnt use his skills would he have ever lost in his prime only man outbox him was hearns other than that no one did yes terry norris did but leonard was way way past it

My speculation would be Ray wins by ko in the late 14th or 15th :)

No way Leonard didn't have FLoyd's defense, speed IMO(in single punches), reflexes, or timing. Leonard was larger with a bigger chin and possibly heart, but he used speed footwork as opposed to clever footwork like Mayweather, Roy Jones, and HOpkins. I think this would be a great fight as opposed to a wipe out with Floyd either being tko'ed or winning a UD.

I see a fight similar to Leonard/ Benitez but without the knock downs, Leonard by decision though IMO

Both fighters ALMOST identically the same; speed, style, agility.....

I think the fight would be a very close call, in the end it could go either way I mean PBF would bring his ring generalship, the smart punches and slick shoulder roll.

In the end IMO the fight would be UD favor of Leonard due to the harder & cleaner punches, I just think judges would favor SRL advantages over the punches that PBF would land which would be more in qty. but not hard & clean like the ones SRL would land.

I would go with Mayweather. no reason for me to believe that Mayweather would lose. Ray was fantastic fighter, Howeever -vs- Ray I Thought Hearns won the second fight, I thought Haglar won the fight, and Duran won the first fight . I See Floyd doing the same. just my opinion

Remember though Ray was way past his best for Hearns 2, Hagler. Floyd doesn't fight anything like Duran he was relentless in that 1st fight. It would be a great battle of skills but I think Leonard who fought in the days of 15 rounders would have the edge.

I agree no one dominated Ray at 147, even the 1st Duran fight was close (I thought Ray won). Floyd is great but Leonard was slightly better in every department!

no disrespect to duran but duran only won first fight is because duran said he fought like pussy and leonard wanted to prove a point by fighting more like a brawler

Although Benitez lost to Leonard back in 78. He made Leonard miss time and again. He proved to be the better defensive masterman. Unfortunately he lacked the ice cool meticulous offensive qualities and maybe even the footwork that Mayweather has shown.

I think given my opinion that SRL isnt THAT great a boxer and he was up against someone with superror appliance of hand and footwork also with better defence... Id have to give PBF the nod... 2 times out of 3.

I have to go with Leonard. Never seen PBF tested so there's a big unknown in the heart department, Leonard has shown his many times, plus he's bigger and stronger. PBF loses by u.d. I think it would be competetive, but PBF wouldn't be able to hurt Leonard, and Leonard would stun PBF a couple of times. PBF had some difficulty with Zab, and SRL is far superior to Zab.

i dont know really. i havent seen that many SRL fights but by what you guys are saying he could beat floyd so i will say leonard by decision

aaron pryor because hes animal he comes out looking for finish i dont know if floyd could handle it plus pryor could box really well when he had to first arugello fight for example

Oh yeah, Pryor knocks Floyd out. Floyd struggled with the pressure of Castillo in the 1st & Pryor is a whole lot more of a monster!

Really like both fighters but SRL stops PBF imo, slightly faster hands, more powerful, better chin and heart from what we know. Ray is naturally bigger aswell.

We could have a unification fight - the battle of the acronyms.

PBF starts against SRL, the winner of that fights the winner of MAB versus JMM. SRR gets a bye and faces ODLH in the sencind round.
RJJ defends against B-H again, then JCC comes in.
