I couldn't beleive he was as high as 14 before the Spina fight... Spina was a good win. Important to show he can take shots and KO someone with a decent chin, even though Spina IMO isn't a good fighter, he was ranked. Manfredo is plodding slowly and carfully for his shot @ the titleQuote:

first fight on my card mora won by 2 rounds but in rematch i felt manfredo done enough to win quite easily to be honest but there you goQuote:

Yes Ishe's good? What's your guys' point? Where is it? In fact, where's Ishe? heheh
Manfredo hooked up with the best trainer in the game, Freddie Roach. Has improved loads
and if you can't see that then rewind.
When did this sparring match occur? As a matter of fact Manfredo here is getting some good
sparring. IMO Manfredo has a good chin and he can punch.
If they ever fought in the ring for real, it'd be different of course. Maybe Ishe would
win, maybe not, but don't base Manfredo's legitimacy on a damn sparring match.
... You get me?
I'm liking his style and I'm gonna defend it. :rasta:
I shit you not...I feel like I have just stepped into the Twilight Zone...
Calzaghe wins a fight & everyone pisses & moans about him being off a bit...
But Manfredo being ranked #6 is acceptable?
Oh my? ;D
LMAO!Quote:

I can already imagine what the fight looks like. Same ole' Calzaghe (I bet).
His wins might not be pretty but he wins and a win, is a win, is a win, is a win, in my neck of the woods :)

I like Manfredo's style and I think he has a big future in boxing.
About the Calzaghe fight, I'm just saying I felt that Joe would look "bad." Joe always
does look "bad." haha And that lucky for him they chose Bika, who's beatable.
Thats all I said. And that's what happened, it wasn't a GEM of a show from Joe.
Jeff made Joe look invincible.
Even Joe said himself, he didn't like his performance and that he only gets up
for big fights. Maybe Calzaghe is right, in that case the current fighters in his
division or era can't beat him.
gotta love it!!!! He absolutly dominated Spina!!!!Quote:

Here is a photo of Sergio getting booed by a bunch of lamers in the crowd.
I thought Peter had a larger following than this. I thought he would sell the place out and yet he did not. More people turned up to watch Mora/Regan than they did Manfredo/Spina.
Peter said he did not need Sergio? How wrong he was. They need each other. (sad but true for now)
On a side note, It's good to see Peter Manfredo winning and it's also good to see him finaly growing up and honoring his contract with the Contender. Ishe made that mistake and what has he done? Nada.
I think Peter's father is the loose cannon and is the one who puts things in his sons head. (I am sure he means well) But, I am very glad that Peter fired his azz and hired a real trainer like Frederico Cucaracha. I still have to give the old bat (Manfredo Sr.) some credit for everything he has done for his son. You can't deny the love. I still get the feeling that Manfredo Sr is living vicariously through his son. I am not the only person who has said this. At least he has been there for his son. I can not say the same for the piece of shiet father I never had.
Peace.
:)
