he has not shot please he got outboxed by hopkins and by wright calzaghe is natrually bigger calzaghe will easily beat tito 100 percentQuote:

tito still has great power but im not sure if it would suffer even worse at super middle or not...
prefer it to be at middle... like i said joe has gone this far and never been beaten
so hes to proud to be knocked out but i think tito wins by late stoppage..
be a great fight thou
peacce
its nothing to do with tito hating what ur saying is silly though its like saying calzaghe can move all way up to cruiserweight after not fighting for ages and knock there top boy out it doesnt work out that way mate i like u but this is where we disagree broQuote:

depends how joe shows
and if he can stick to a game plan while he gets hit by someone with power like tito's
peace
Calzaghe doesn't have huge power, IMO Hopkins is the harder and more accurate puncher, and Tito took his punches for 12 rounds, Calzaghe does tend to kind of slap with most of his punches, and Trinidad has dealt with although smaller, faster and more skilled fighters than Calzaghe, also Calzaghe doesn't really move all that much so Tito does have a good shot at beating him, just wouldn't think that it would be straight out of retirement
no tito would get KTFO! in his prime i think trinidad would be to quick for calzaghe, way to quick.calzaghe dosent stand much of a chance against primed up trinidad!peace! :D
nahh man he came out of retirement like two years ago and looked pretty sweet against mayorga..Quote:

This is a great post, i thought this was a boxing forum?? Not a comedy one!!!
Come on Tito great fighter but please, Calzaghe would be able to do what he wants with him he is to dam small, the guy has won one fight in over five years!!!!!!!!!!! He has fought three times in five years!!!!!!!!!! He has never fought at 168!!!!!! But hey he can come back and knock the best 168lber in the world out no problem LMAO!!! Come on guys please wake up and smell the coffee!!
Tito has been out to long to make a stand.. i like his chances a few years ago ! O0
cool click anyway . ;)
no joke kid!!Quote:

tito is not small hes pretty tall, ok for a middleweight...
yeh tito has fought three times in last 4 or 5 years but he still young and in good shape...
joe is older aswell, problems with his hands
and joe has fought how many decent opponents in his entire career? 2.. one past his prime and one still a young man.
tito has always fought the best!!
i just dont see how people can even think its funny or dismiss tito? what is it that makes joe that great?
i dont see how calzaghe is even that good!
peace
ill tell u what makes him great excellent combos great speed great chin decent power 42-0 20 defences is it ?? been champ since 1997 has fought all comers ok sometimes not greatest opp but there still decent fighters if they wernt any good they wouldnt be fighting for the titleQuote:

Beyer, Kessler & Cal would handle him.
Seriously, if you said that this Saturday, Carl Froch would was fighting Tito at 168lbs, id fancy Froch's Chances.
Agreed. Tito could stretch himself to middleweight, but super middleweight is a stretch too far...Quote:

Tito??? WTF?
That would be so ridiculous there are no words... Old, shot AND far smaller!!! The three things Calzaghe normally chase - all in the same fighter. Now - that would set a new low, even for Calzaghe
Jeff Lacy Younger-Fresh and Bigger!! ;)Quote:

would be to big a step up 4 Tito. If he's serious though he should fight a fight or 2 at the weight to
see how he fairs out
im not tito hater but he got dominated by wright and hopkins now people think he could move up and even make it competitive on what basis ??
:bow:Quote:

Im American, no bias.
tito only has power when he has the illegal hand wraps, against lighter opponents...against a bigger guy, after a few years off, and with legal handwraps.... i don't see how anyone can say he has a chance!
im getting sick of this bullshit :P
just wait and see
how calzaghe will destroy unify
and retire a undefeated legend ;D
had to give you a sad click for that... but at least i admit it..Quote:

old? if were talking old.. joe is far older then tito what is he now like 33 34? fair enough its not prime but its not old!
who said he was shot, i wouldnt say he's shot he was beaten twice in 43 fights
also beaten by two fighters that will surely be inducted into the hall of fame
i mean look at it bernard hopkins.. the first to unify the middleweight crown in lord knows how long
winky wright fought/beaten some of the greatest fighters of this era. sugar shane twice, taylor, vargas (cough) beat!, hes probably the greatest defensive and smatest fighters of a generation.
joe hasnt even fought two prime good fighters...
he fought jeff and eubank..
jeff is young and a huge project who got in too deep to early and had never really fought a big name.
and joe fought eubank for the vacant title after eubank was at his best..
he didnt even beat the man
to be the man you have to beat the man and he didnt beat the man....
and it took joe 9 odd years to even unify two titles... thats incredible!
fair enough there are alot of factors in the fight that could have it go either way.. notice i havnt said anyone will whoop anyone... i have said a prediction but thats on certain terms
im jus fighting the case for tito its incredible how you could just dimiss tito's case!!
and if this is how the public feels then maybe if joe were to take this fight he'd be all oh i'll whoop tito i'll just stand in front of tito...
and we all knows what happens to people who just stand in front of tito dont we? ;)
its a fair arguement lads!!
peace
and you sir have no arguement....Quote:

that is not an arguement thats just idle assumptions that you know isnt right ... have a sad click :D

agree with what ur saying bro but he didnt just lose to them he got dominated and thats surely got to affect his confidence ??Quote:

i wasnt even mad watching him loose because bernard and winky are seriously some of the most elite fighters of the generation. tito has always fought the best.. and you know he comes to fight he just has cracks.
ive already stated depending on how joe shows up is whether joe can win a ud... i havnt dissmissed it atall ive said fair play if he has a plan and sticks to it its a twelve round drubbing!
but all these cats will dissmiss a guy that was once considered the best finisher and one of the best pound for pound in the game. but yet joe hasnt fought anybody.. just two people.. and three aba titles
a fair fair fair few years ago...
i certainly cant see why they say he's old... joe is either the same age as tito or a year or so older
and tito has hands of stone. while joe has hands of glass
certainly a fight that would make history though, i mean look at the following there is for both fighters!!
that is a real ppv thats worth watching! the fan base for both joe and tito is incredible , joe should take the fight it'll make history and if he shows up in the right frame of mind and takes a decision his legacy goes way up and so does trinidads bank account regardless...
course theres no way to dissmiss tito! lol
peace
oh yes he certainly can crack one of commentators say he had weak chin i disagree tito is great fighter but he is like u said he is bit of one trick pony i admire tito he certainly has fought the best even though i would favour calzaghe 80/20 when two men get in the ring anything can happen one swing can change historyQuote:

depends on how tito would be at super middle.. you forget that tito walks around naturally at between 160 and 170 better if hes 160 then instead of having to drop the wieght, he gets a good conditioning coach and he wont loose so much power trying to make the wieght , plus he'll be better on his feet as that was considered the problem most of the times he was droped early he supposedly had trouble getting warmed up and sweated up because he had dried out to make wieght.
peace
But look at Bika... he's a 175 fighter IMO who is a division down trying to use his natural strength against smaller guys.Quote:

Joe has a good chin on him... regardless of who threw them they were good shots he was hit with... both times he has been in bad form when it has happened... in court with his wife and stuff... up until the 2 fights it had happened he had never been knocked down... sparring amatuer, pro or other wise.
He took some good shots off a much bigger man in Bika... most heavy weights would feel his punches... ;)
yeh true bika has a good shot on him, he's just one of those tough guys that never really made it big i guess... i was gona make a thread about emQuote:

i get what your saying.. i dunno though i dont think i'll ever get on the joey c bandwagon cos hes never fought great competition, i mean fair is fair number one contenders are number one contenders for a reason... theyr tip top tough, but theyr not the opponents he should have faced , he didnt even look for the big fights, i never heard of him calling out roy jones or bhop about four years ago? he says he did thou... i dunno, he is either a great fighter who has wasted his talent and wasted his best years.. or a fony who has get up the hopes of millions, i duno i wouldnt like to say...

All the Trinidad fans like to say that Trinidad is a natural 154 pounder and doesn't have power to hurt the guys like Hopkins and Winky on pure size. Yet they sit there and say that Calzaghe could be knocked out by Trinidad at 168 pounds ::**
I love Tito Trinidad(no homo) no doubt. But he's not going to beat Joe Calzaghe.
got to this second post and didnt bother reading the rest CC boston... as you pegged pacdog in one line 8)Quote:
