Who can beat Hatton at 140?
I hear it from both sides of the pond, Our boy Hatton is invincible or Our boy PBF is invincible...........

at 140 hatton beats all them. he murders pinto, is too busy for cotto, would batter diego's body and in my opinion mayweather couldn't keep him off him for 12 and doesn't have the fire power to stop him. hatton stops him late. but castillo would land some bombs, but i still think hatton is to much at 140.

you pretty much have it covered from the beginning...
they CAN beat him not that they will....
the jlc fight is a done deal pretty much so i hear.. jlc can, but is unproven at lww and they will both pretty much rough eachother up... difference being that hatton is way better conditioned and i think will just plain outlast castillo, but definately a class fight.
i know that floyd wont move back down to welter for ricky, and ricky hasnt asked him to he has said he will move to welter for that fight, but is also asking alot of money, maybe hattons offer will be met half way after a few big wins!! so leave it at that as its a long long arguement of who beats who between hatton and pbf...
cotto is also moving to 147 .. im not sure about ricky's views of cotto, i havnt heard him mention him and i dont know whether he feels that cotto is a worthy enough oponent to move up for he may want cotto to meet him at 140..
definately another good one.. this is a can beat hatton at his peak if he comes with a game plan..
but i would like to think ricky would beat him...
they are both on the top tier but i believe ricky has much more experiance and is better conditioned..

Hatton can't beat Mayweather. His style is very similar to Jesus Chavez style. Who Mayweather stopped in 8. Hatton will suffer a similar fate. I don't see how Hatton is too busy for Cotto, considering Cotto has never shown stamina to be a problem. I think Cotto is stronger than Hatton and would stop him in a shoot out. Castillo would as well. Corrales and Pinto are very similar in built. Hatton would naturally attack the body and in the process leaving himself open to power shots. Corrales in 3. Pinto in 5.

Cotto MAY be able to beat but I hope that fight never happens at 140,as it would give Hatton the advantage. Castillo may but I think all the wars will catch up to him sooner or later and hATTON's roughouse tactics are troublesome for anyone. Castillo I would slightly favor
Cotto could beat him, but I don't know if I'd favor him, about 50/50
Maybe Corrales catches him with a short left hook, he is better at close range than KT, but Hatton would be the favorite.

Hey I'll be honest man,1 and unless he has improved dramatically since then,Hatton would maul him. You CANNOT stand in front of Hatton at 140 and expect to come out on top. He hustles you,harasses you,elbows,head,great bodywork etc but he does not give you a seond to breathe!! Actually,Hatton was meant to fight Pinto BEFORE the Cotto fight but Hatton got injured,I remember the commentators mentioning it.

cotto hasent had any stamina problems yet but he hasnt faced a fighter as busy as hatton. any yes i know fighters like mallinigi and torres went after cotto but they don't quite set the pace of hatton and the pair of them cant keep it up for 12 rounds. cotto likes to nick little breathers hear and there and can be a bit lazy. he stops fighters in say8 or 9 when he could finish it in 5. hatton would be way to busy for cotto who i think would burn out after 7 if he has to keep up with hattons pace.

His style does lend itself to getting snuffed out himself. his relentless aggression is so crowd pleasing yet it has risks. fighters that could beat Hatton at 140

I got nothing against Hatton. I think he's a good fighter. I just don't think he can beat Castillo, Cotto, Corrales or Mayweather. I would take him over Torres or Chavez

Cotto has power, Hatton has proved he could take power of Cottos when he went up in weight and ate Collazos shots. how can you say Collazo(26-2-12ko's) has the same power as Cotto(27-0-22 ko's) Collazo may fight at a higher weight class but if someone is breaking peoples bones he hits preety hard, Collazo and Cotto are noway near the same stylisticly or power.

I'm not sure. I just through his name in the mix as people who may give him trouble. Diaz is very quick and is constantly improving... but yes I agree with you it wouldn't be a good idea for Diaz to have Hatton as his first fight at 140. I would have to see how he does in a couple tune up matches at 140 before I could make a better prediction.

Cotto=if Cotto uses his boxing ability and sets up his shots to the body Hatton wont last the 12 rnds
Castillo=too fast and strong as hell, iron jaw and would give Hatton a beating
Casamayor=too slick and quick, would move and hit

Cotto - no way he beats Hatton at 140. It would be close for a few rounds but Cotto would fade badly, as he always does and Hatton would come into his game. Cotto couldn't even stop Malignaggi at 140. Cotto wins at 147 by the way.
PBF - Mayweather has the edge but it would be a Duran / Leonard 1 type fight. Not sure who wins.
Cassamyour - are you real. No chance Hatton on points (convincingly)
Corrales - even for a few rounds Hatton mid round TKO. Corrales would fight the wrong fight and loose.
Castillo - this is the one I worry about. Castillo does everything Hatton does and some of it better. He beat Corrales twice remember if he hadn't cheated with the gum shield. What worries me is I dont think Hatton could have taken the punishment Castillo took in that fight up to being stopped. I fancy Castillo, just a strong feeling I have.
Harris - no chance, bottles it on the big event.
Witter - Hatton wins late TKO or on points as long as he is not stupid and is in and out ala Kostya.
