He just ran all night!!!!!

Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
what you on about running he boxed him and baldo couldnt touch him, if mayweather engaged in a fight everyone woulda have said he fought the wrong fight, you guys are never happy with what the pretty boy floyd does
-
Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
No,
I have to agree here....
All of the PBF fans said he wasnt scared to getg in there and mix it up, they kept saying it was going to be a knockout.....But, PBF proved what I have been saying about how he was going to fight this fight,,,,,"Gun and Run!!"
PBF didnt have the power to even hurt Baldy, Baldy was walking through them whenever PBF took the time to stop and actually throw something....He did do what he should have done to won the fight, but it made for an awkward fight for those PBF fans that were hoping for the big KO....

Why can't he just be happy he won? Why does he always have to make excuses about why he didn't knock somebody out? He couldn't do it to Baldomir and he wasn't going to knock Zab out either.

I think he's happy with the win....he's can't figure out why the fans haven't come over to him yet (He is too Ali cocky) if he became a little more humble maybe he could draw and win the fight fans over....

Baldomir was the recognized legit 147 champ...until PBF destroyed him....who else is recognized as the "champ"?? please don't insult me by throwing out Hatton or Cotto or Margarito....

I'm not sure about Hatton but Cotto and Margarito are both way better than Baldomir. Either one would give him a tougher fight. Zab was easily outpointing Baldi b4 getting caught and unfortunately for him, he was so badly conditioned that he never recovered. If Zab was in better shape, it looks like he was gonna get rid of Floyd by about the 8th or 9th round. I think that is why there is this conspiracy to keep Zab from fighting cause Floyd and his people are afraid to make that rematch. When everyone started making Floyd out to be a god, around the time that he beat up Gatti, I lost respect for him. In the first round, the ref said to stop punching and Floyd proceeded to hit Gatti with two clean sucker punches one which knocked Gatti down and the ref actually called it just that. Despicable!! Of course the HBO guys glorified him for it and Gatti was never in the fight from that point on. He is really, really good but just like Wlad, lots of talent, no balls.

Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
Mayweather ALWAYS has a hand injury when he doesn't stop an opponent he says he's going to.
He "hurt his hand" against Corley, Judah and Baldomir.
"I hurt my hand" = "I couldn't back up what I said about a savage beating so I need an excuse"

How long has PBF been a boxer for? The Majority of his life... you don't see the Blood Sweat or Tears because he prepares himself to do what he does properly... IN THE GYM!
::**
Sorry Fanboy, but as much as I like Hatton he would never be able to touch Floyd. Get over it and hate on some one else ;)

Funny that isn't it Starr... ::** :P Didn't see the Corley or Baldi fight but from what I've heard after 5-6 rounds Floyd could of stopped Baldi... and he could of finished Zab off late too...
It's almost as if he actually did hurt his BRITTLE hands... ::** ;) He is aloud to isn't he? ;)

he only does it when he fails to stop someone ;)

Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
you can look at it two ways:
If he fails to stop some one he hurt is hand
or
If he hurts his hand he fails to stop some one
Do you get what I am saying? ;)
He's not going to start making excuses if he just knocked some one the fuck out is he? ;)

Barerra did ;) When he knocked out Fana

Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
In my opinion it's slightly disrespectful, you give some a concussion and then say... 'the the guy is so crap I KOd him with a broken hand'
And they say there are no Gentlemen in boxing any more... :P
That's still not my point though... MAB is more of a one punch KO artist than Floyd is... you can't keep punching on a bad hand which is how Floyd stops people... if he KOs them then assume his hand is fine... if not... take his word for it unless you are still saw over Zab... ;) ;D

Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
I will admit to you that PBF won this fight....I dont feel it was the majority landslide that all the judges gave him, but he won...
I had PBF winning 7 rounds, I took rounds from PBF for the running...I dont like it when boxers run, then its even worse when he complains about a fake injury....It didnt look hurt when he was in the post fight meeting he had....
The only way I can see that his hand was bothering him is because of the brick wall he ran into in the ring....You cannot and will not hurt Baldomir. I believe that when the guy gets hit it makes him fight even better....
BUT, I did see that a few of the shots that Baldy caught him with and they HURT....enough to make PBF even run faster.....
Think of it as you all may, PBF won the fight and thats that....the only way to get satisfaction is to pray for a rematch.....And with PBF going into retirement, it aint going to happen....
-

Coach you got issues buddy....But like I said earlier how can you be a coach but you dont look at things objectively...I dont understand you at all :dontknow: What fight were you watching...Rewatch it by round 3 Baldi was demoralized and had the look of defeat in his eyes while shaking his head looking at the ground...Self proclaimed injury??? Ok Floyd didnt throw the straight righ with conviction from round 6 onwards which is his Bread and Butter Money Punch...So you tell me..HuH???That even elevates Floyd higher he basically beat your Boy with one hand tied behind his back....
He never had Floyd hurt once!!!!! or in trouble you must not be teaching your boys proper defense and shoulder rolling and fainting cause check Floyds face not a scratch..On the otherhand Baldo's face was starting to look like a catchers mitt
Punch stats
Total
Carlos 79 of 670 12%
Floyd 199 of 458 43%
Power
Carlos 67 of 562 12%
Floyd 131 of 258 51%

Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
Floyd's bread and butter punch is his leaping left hook more then his right hand which he uses to set up his left by feinting it.

Uh no honey sorry his last few fights he has been utilizing that punch very well and has been very successful seeing that he is so fast he can lead with it and uses it to counter very well...So stop picking out the scraps of a post and overlooking the main points..Good try though ::**

It wasn't Floyd right hand that dropped Gatti and Corrales was it? ;)
I think Floyd's best punch is his leaping left hook. He's using his right hand very well..but thats not his best punch

Gotta agree with u there ;D I thought as I saw him shaking everybody's hand in the ring after the fight that it can't have been that sore. If u have broken bones in your hand you don't let everone that extends their hand to you put a squeeze on it. ;)

You seriously think he is a real boxing coach? ???
Yeah and the boxing for real guys are real sports presenters ::**
BoxingCoachBW is always posting crap, nearly always wrong, correction always wrong.
I'd pity any poor kid who walked into a gym run by him. :-\

Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
baldo was never hurt?!?
you know what? i think a cut and a broken nose hurts
floyds punches may not be heavy enought to drop a welterweight
but you dont need to be dropped to be hurt
-
Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
Cuts and a broken nose are sort of superficial though...
Every punch you get hit with hurts, theres hurt and then there's hurt. Hard to explain... ;)
I doubt anything PBF hit him with hurt him right deep down to his core.
-
Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
yeah man i got your point
baldo is really tough and by boxing standards
hes never hurt by floyd.. but who knows?
where not in his position to tell and i doubt if a single fighter will
admit to the fans hes hurt. all they say is
'i was caught by a good punch but i never felt his power'
and im also tryin to say is that a fighter doesnt need to stay standing
even if hes hurt.. sometimes going down makes them recover and reorganized
themselves or makes them pull that wild card aka a haymaker
-
Re: WHAT WAS HE CRYING FOR ? I never saw any blood sweat or guts
"When referring to professional boxing or the sweet science (a common nickname among fans), is a sport and martial art in which two participants of similar weight fight each other with their fists in a series of one to three-minute intervals called "rounds". In both Olympic and professional divisions, the combatants (called boxers or fighters) avoid their opponent's punches while trying to land punches of their own. Points are awarded for clean, solid blows to the legal area on the front of the opponent's body above the waistline, with hits to the head and torso being especially valuable. The fighter with the most points after the scheduled number of rounds is declared the winner."
Floyd defined boxing as in above & using the ring to slip & set up his shots is not RUNNING as some of you my fellow posters have defined it.
Guys...Floyd one...fair & square...this isn't a head scratcher like many of us suffered watching Hatton vs Collazo nor was it a piss poor performance by my guy Joe Calzaghe against Bika...so please...be good sports...& stop making yourselves look silly.
