After watching Pac vs EM I&II recently.............

After watching Pac vs EM I&II recently.............

Ive noticed a couple of things:

Pac vs EM I:
1) both fights was SICK and clearly fights of the year! Toe to Toe action, trading back and forth non stop from bell to bell.
2) when discussing the first bout many peeps forget about the unintentional HEAD BUTT. I personally feel this was the REAL turning point of the fight. PAC was hurt, disturbed, in pain from this point on with the deep gash over his eye bleeding down through out the remainder of the fight. Prior to this Pac was winning, confident, strong, powerful etc, after the headbutt, Pac looked weak, in pain etc etc. Not to take anything away from EM we all know he had the far more better skills, experience, knowledge to pull the win, but if the head butt never occurred i feel Pac would of won the first fight. Also the ring doctor was rather bizarre he was supposed to observe Pac from the outside quickly instead he took his sweet time to come into the ring and ask Pac alot of questions. during this time EM was squatting down and resting up like a mother!
3) i dont care what you say Pac did not get to wear his reyes gloves in this one due to his dumbasss promoter at the time being tricked into signing it into his contract. anyone who's wore reyes gloves or has been hit by reyes gloves knows theres a world of difference. personally id break my hands if i wore them.
4)In this first fight Pac was still rather 1 dimmensional going forward and backward all night. Not really switching it up, dancing, side to side. We see him gradually but not by much improving in this area with the 2nd fight, but in the most recent LARIOS fight WOW he got some NEW MOVES BABY!
5)in the first fight the day before the fight blood was drawn from Pac's arm????? WTF was up with that BS????? we all know after a flu shot no ones gonna be busting a 12rounder ya arms are spent.
6)distractions up the assss for PAC, alot of pressure with all the PI politicians, in attendance, Pac was distracted.

Now again im not taking anything away from EM, hes a LEGEND no doubt, his skills, knowledge, experience gave him the win that night, but again if the HEAD BUTT did not occurr, i feel Pac would of came out victorious, cuz that was the turning point in the fight.

Pac vs EM II
1) rather similiar to the first both trading toe to toe. Pac has a lil bit better movement this time.
2) EM is clearly drained and not himself physically.
3)EM's corner is wack, hes got a trainer with no experience at all, they massage his legs, etc.
4)in the 6th round I actually saw that the ref COULD have possibly waived it off a TKO. the angle that HBO had only saw the back of EM's head but it seemed a flurry from PAC was not being answered at all. But i guess the ref gave EM the benefit of the doubt.
5) we all know EM's nose was broken worse than ever in his career.
6) EM's is legitamately knocked down for the first time in his career, and knocked out.

So for the GRAND FINALE my friends yes anything can happen! First off I pray to GOD that EM makes weight!!!!!!
Make no mistake this will again be FIGHT OF THE YEAR!
EM's only chance is to BOX, and to BOX smart all night long to jab and not, be macho and trade. Pac's in trouble when hes pressed against the ropes, but in the middle of the ring Pac's speed and Power take over!
If Pac has his Matrix/SpiderMAN moves that he busted out in the LARIOS fight then this is gonna be SICK! If Pac's got his reyes gloves on! I see EM winning probably the better first 1/2 of the fight with Pac landing great hard punches as well and eventually wearing down EM in the later rounds to another KO.

PACMAN by LATE KO and all 16,000 DIME PINAYS start lifting their shirts up as the ref counts EM down for the count!

now if i can only get my hands on some tickets for this fight! ;)

I too watched the fights again day before yesterday and I guess I can only come up with the same conclusions that you have. I guess PAC will be using his Reyes gloves. I have not heard anything different on the subject. Are there any other stipulations we should be aware of? The weight issue still has to be a major factor here and I don't even want to think about this. EM should make weight now that he has new people working with him. His conditioning should be a lot better but we wont know until we see him fight. If velocity does what it says it will then....

Great analysis P4P bro,CC. I can't wait for this fight,the second is still my fight of the year but if Morales wins this one,it'll be fight of the year and probably,from a personal standpoint,one of my greatest fights ever. Plus,Papa Morales is back in the corner too!

yup yup. No matter what happens this is going to be a great fight.
I don't care what anyone says about either of these fighters. They come to do battle and a war is what we are going to get.

Morales has to only get to 132, he has been allowed a 2lb cushion. I felt EM's biggest issue in the last fight was his stamina, you could tell about the 5th round he was just gassed. Partially due to Pac's body shots but I think mostly due to poor stamina. EM has taken 36 rounds of Barrera's body shots, so I dont feel that 5 rounds of Pacs would make that much of a difference. Either way EM is going to have to box his arse off to win this. He has to follow the game plan from the first fight. Fight of The Year is almost upon us!!! I cant wait!!!!

Now at last I've seen a guy here who actually analyzed the fights before speaking. Congrats pal! I've heard many times that Erik chose to box his way to victory in the first fight and that he should've done so on the second, which according to them he did for the first five rounds. That's not true, my friends. Erik doesn't know any other way to fight than he usually does. Did he fight differently in any of the 3 fights against Barrera? No he didn't. Don't get me wrong, folks, I'm not trying to put him down - definitely he is very skilled fighter but he usually stick to his old style which no doubt is an excellent style. In brief, let me explain to you his style: Erik is one of those few excellent boxers who uses his eyes well (no, superbly I should say) in a fight; just look at the way he looks at his opponents. He keenly observes his opponent's every movement to look for an opening and as soon as he sees the opening, he attacks - he superbly exploits his opponents every opening. See guyz, that's Erik's basic style: to look for an opening and attack and attack - in that cycle throughout the fight. So basically he's still not a counterpuncher, although he's not a mindless slugger either - I'd classify him as an intelligent puncher. He is a well-balanced fighter, that's what makes him great. But his big problem is that he usually doesn't change his style even when it's not working for him anymore. That's why he lost to Barrera twice (although I personally saw all of them somewhat close), and that's where he differs from Barrera. So I'm almost sure he'd be trying to rely on his 'regained' strength, which he thinks he lost in his last fight, than to change his style; in other words, he's probably concentrating on increasing his power than anything else. The only difference I think would be he'd be a little more careful in his attacks so he won't go into unnecessary exchanges with Pac and also to save his gaz. But believe me, he will attack with all his might whenever he thinks he's got Pac, that's just his style and no other.

Listen I was THERE!!!! Pac lost far and square. Reyes or no Reyes, he was outboxed and surprised. Roach was surprised. Just about every boxing writer wrote Morales off.

Then Morales gets one of his biggest wins of his career. And people are still confused IMO.

I knew Morales would win that one too. Too skilled, unafraid, b*llsy, and ready. I didn't know after the loss that Pacquiao would have so many fight fans sympathizing with him in EVERY aspect.

Pac and Roach were caught off gaurd. They forgot that my boy Erik Morales was a B*D*SS. That's all it is. Manny trained hard for that fight. It's just that he didn't know what he was up against.

When it comes to upsets, people always try to over-analyse and make sense of things. With Buster it was a bad training camp. With Foreman it was the ropes were too saggy and low.

Just accept it, some fighters produce some of the greatest miracles not by skill, but by character. ;)

Yes he has been giving a 2 lb cushion, but at a huge price of I think a half million dollars per pound which he has to pay to Pac if he does not make the 130 Lb limit. Then he has handlers fee's, trainers and other expenses. I don't know what their pay is but I don't think it could be much more then all of that, and I'm sure he dose not want to take a beating for no $$$. Win or lose their both going to take a beating in this fight.

No predictions from me on this fight but I'm rooting for a Morales win.
