MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
I gotta go to work so I'll give a quick briefing. Mosley said since DLH and PBF are out of the picture, the biggest fight out there is Tito. He said he can gain 10 pounds no problem and would have no problem fighting a bigger man. How can anyone not love Mosley? He says he'll fight anyone and he means it.

Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
Whats the point?
It's a step down for Shane
(not because Tito is a bad fighter)
But that this would be a strictly for the pocket fight when Mosley prides himself off of fighting the best and taking risks.
Not that Tito wouldn't be a risk but its only a money fight :(
-
Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
Shanes right when he says its the biggest fight out there for him .
Taylors moving up so Tito - Shane is a big money fight and will do great for Shanes legacy . But I think Tito would only comeback for Oscar
-
Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
They were supposed to fight after Shane beat ODH the second time. Tito was ringside for the fight with Winky, and Shane losing canceled the fight. Tito fought Mayorga, then lost to Wright then retired.
I think it would be a good fight, but Shane would win. I would rather see Shane beat the tar out of Zab. Zab has continually talked trash about Shane anyway. Shane would ko Zab.

I completely agree Starr. I mean Titos not even in the picture right now and he's calling him out its only about money.
I would rather see Mosley fight anyone of the threats at WW. Then maybe fight the Winner of the PBF/Oscar fight, which I really think PBF is going to win.
-
Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
I think Shane should take a fight to put him in line or get a shot at a title at 147 and then let the unification of all the belts begin, I would like to see who the last man standing out of all the talent at welterweight would be, but I'm probably dreaming.
-
Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
I'm tired of seeing all of these old fogeys face each other. Let's have more of the good young lion / old lion matchup. De La Hoya vs PBF is on, make Mosley vs Judah, Tito vs Spinks.
-
Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
Ridiculous from Mosley. One minute he s coming to 147,the next he wants to go back up,the next,I heard him mention he wants Cotto etc etc.

Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
People need to leave Trinidad the fuck alone. The man's retired. Let him enjoy it.

Why would this make anyone love Mosely? This is a joke. The last we saw Tito he was getting embarrassed into retirement. A couple years ago.

This would be Shane's third fight in a row against a shot fighter who shouldn't be fighting anymore. He ought to fight someone who's still good. This is an EASY fight.

CC VD! This guy keeps getting dragged back in and is forced to fire back that he would fight these people so he can save face... I feel bad for the guy...

I agree. Everyone sees him as vulnerable right now due to his inactivity. It was fools gold the way he beat up Mayorga and it's the same with Oscar. That's why I laughed when Oscar said he could walk away right now on top.

I wouldn't say it's an easy fight when you compare it to what the rest of these cowards are doing. Look at Floyd comp the last few years. You can't tell me that Trinidad can't come out of retirement tomorrow and knock Baldomir out. Floyd is a joke. Shane has moved up and fought the best in every division he's been in and I'm not even a fan of his. I just respect fighters who are not all about talking and hype. That being said, I think he would beat my boy Tito at this point.

Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
mosley-tito would be a good fight, tito and mosley are my 2 fav. fighters of the last few years. mosley is good, but i think he is too small for tito and trinidad would eventually knock his block off, but it would be a good fight if it happend, i hope it does!

Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
and so the circus we call boxing continues... :-\
Mosley is just making a headline grab!! in the shadow of Oscar v Mayweather...
"don't forget about me I'm Shane Mosley and I can make a huge PPV event too!!" ::**

I laughed too

Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
I'm interested and I'll watch if it happens but Mosley and Tito should have done this YEARS ago!!!

I disagree. This will be Shane's third easy fight in a row. He gives the appearance of fighting better competition than some of these other guys because he's fighting people with big names. The problem is that they have big names from what they did ten years ago, before they became totally shot and/or retired. Would you give much respect to Klitchko if he called out Mike Tyson right now (while everyone else fights bs mandatories)? I wouldn't.

I understand your point but what I'm saying is that Floyd is considered p4p #1 (not by me, by the way) and not only has he been fighting guys who are not big names but, were never big names and that is why he looks so dominant. Shane can never be accused of ducking anyone. Again, this is coming from someone who is not even a Mosley fan, although I must say I do respect his track record.

:coolclick: SSSP.
I think that this is clearly a step backwards for Shane. I mean...it'd be different if Tito had been even remotely competitive against Wright.
Waste of time.

I agree that it's a step backwards but going by Shanes track record, I don't think he wants to fight him because he thinks he's shot. I would rather see him be a part of the increasingly interesting welterweight division. I would like to see what he's got left against someone who is interested in being in the ring.

Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
Well what you fail to realize is that Wright is tough to look good against....and Tito has the size, power, and skill to beat Shane and beat him BAD!
Shane is a great, Tito is a great....it's no different than Shane fighting Vargas...everyone involved will make a ton of money.
I want it to happen now

As a huge fan of Titos, I would rather not see it cause I don't think he should fight any more defensive or fast moving guys at this point of his life (notice I didn't say career- he's retired). Maybe some brawling types just for thrills.

Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
You don't have much faith in your boy....Tito Trinidad is one of the best offensive fighters I have ever seen
Mosley is good and fast but defense??? Nah it's average, but not anything spectacular.
Trinidad is 5'11 and knows how to fight tall...Vernon Forrest is 6'0 and knows how to fight tall....Winky Wright is 5'11 and fights tall
Shane is 5'9, he has trouble getting past a good 1-2. If you work the jab and keep the distance then he's ineffective.
I think Tito ALWAYS has posed the biggest threat to Shane

Being a fan of a guy and knowing boxing are two different things all together. I love Tito and whoever he fights, I will be rooting for him but, he has been inactive for too long and I, as a fighter can tell you that when you get injured or whatever and have long stretches without fighting, your timing doesn't come back in a few rounds. Let alone a few fights. He's a guy that truly doesn't need to prove anything because even when he lost, it was after moving up 3 weight classes from where he started and he only fought the toughest fights on the way up. Why should he ruin his great legacy?

Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
I would rather see Mosley fight the winner of the Cotto fight.
Although the way that the Joel Julo that Quintana beat is looking worse and worse.
I always felt that Cotto would stop Quintana due to body shots.
I'm not so sure of Quintana giving as much problems in a losing effort as before.
-
Re: MOSLEY CALLS OUT TITO!!!
Trinidad has been inactive for too long...he needs a warm up fight and then fight Mosley.
Shane really should go after Antonio Margarito....I mean come on, the guy is just sitting there, not having fought extremely tough opponents and I think Shane could stop him late especially if he goes to the body early

I would love to see that fight. Tony or Zab would be the best fights for Shane. I would buy either fight, and like has been said, let's leave poor Tito alone :)
