Difficult to see anybody standing up to McClellan's overhand right. He had extremely heavy hands, G-Man. And let's face it, Joe will get hit.. he's too square-on.

Mclellan is blind and in a wheel chair, not a fair fight imo.
Mclellan vs Watson is fairer, I'd say Watson because he can almost stand unaided.

It was well documented that Nigel was allowed to get away with repeated fouls, not to mentioned when Nigel climbed in the ring again after the Knock Down the ref kept holding Gerald back so Nigel would get his Wits back..It was so obvious that the announcers were yelling "Whats The Ref Doing"?

Ok Gerald walks thru Calzaghe and Knocks him into next week...Gerald is to Ferocious and not detered and Joe dosent have the power to keep Gerald off of him..Like I stated earlier Gerald could Box..So he wasnt a 1 dimensional Brawler like Jeff Lacy was being(So I dont want to here that comparison).....
Not to mention Joe wouldnt fight Gerald anyway....Gerald is to dangerous and Joe's team wouldnt even take the fight..

Yeah, I mean the only place baldomir landed on Floyd was on the back of his head. I agree that it was a hard fought battle and dont think Nigel was fouling on purpose...you get into wars and it close people are gonna take some shots in the back of the head.
I agree that Gman would KO calzaghe...would say mid rounds as calzaghe might be able to move and pepper a bit early on, but once gman saw he wouldnt have to respect calzaghes power...game over!

i did notice him out of breath though i really dont know about his stamina gerald was great fighter no doubt but i dont know about his stamina so that is only question i have if he could keep pace up like u said joe would get smoked but i dont know how good his stamina is only way joe would win is if gerald got tired trying to finish him off early but i dont know how joe could stand that assault in early going it would be so tough for joe to get out of first 3 rounds i dont know if he could do it

There's a possibility McClellan would of blown Calzaghe away....but seeing as he couldn't blow these guys away there's surely a far greater possibility that Calzaghe 42-0 (31 ko's) would of dealt with G-Man. ;)

yes but fenster that was in 1989 he was nowhere near his peak there he lost 6 round decision to dennis milton and 8 round decision to ralph ward theres ur answer there it wasnt even 10 rounder or 12 rounder he wasnt proper pro then
ward was down in the 2nd plus the scores read 75-77 | 75-76 | 75-76 ~ i havent seen the fight but from judges scores looked like pretty close fight
i dont know about williams fight but i bet williams had to go through hell to go 8 rounds with gerald and again wasnt even championship rounds only 8 rounder so he wasnt at his peak there either

There's a possibility McClellan would of blown Calzaghe away....but seeing as he couldn't blow these guys away there's surely a far greater possibility that Calzaghe 42-0 (31 ko's) would of dealt with G-Man. ;)

Because Gerald would be to dangerouus for Joe and Frank Warren would protect his golden child from the slaughter.....Why fight the Gerald Mcclellans and Mikkell Kesslers, when there are plenty of Sakio Bika's and Peter Manfredo's out there....
