Give Pacman the RESPECT he deserves

Many people have been claiming that Morales is a spent force just like Barrera. I beg to disagreee.....

Had morales won the fight people would have said different things. It's so sad that people are always trying to make reasons for their fighters to the point of discrediting the ability of other fighters. Morales said that he intends to knock pacman. Let us take his words for it. Morales trained hard and had he fought a lesser fighter like Guzman or Valero , there could have been a different result.

Take the case of Barrera. When Pacquiao annihilated Barrera, everybody was telling that Barrera is a spent force anyway. But take a look at his achievements after his fight with Pacman. He even has the titles with him right now. His defeat at the hands of Pacman is clearly a sign that Pacman has the ability and is the best fighter in the featherweight. Let us not deprive Pacman the respect he deserves.

You will show your face now after what pac done last night, and stick around a few more days, but once this quiets down (and it will fast) and people start talking about the upcoming fights youll be very seldom seen untill pacs next fight.

this forum is for people who don't just enjoy boxing, but enjoy talking about it and getting other peoples opinions and to indulge in a convo, sometimes very heated, but none the less entertaining. Sure pac deserves respect for what he done, but like it or not its a pretty sure fact morales was a shadow of him self in thier last 2 fights, there seems to be alot of reasons to support the fact that the barrera he beat wasnt the best barrera

A lil intro to this forum for you matey, every boxer, at some point will be questioned on this forum, maybe not so much the past ones (but some have to) but pretty much every boxer in the public eye will be taken apart and looked at on here..

and just ocming out making this, ney DEMANDING we give some respect, well your off to a bad start, god know si agree with you pac should have respect, but there are ways and means of getting your point across

Pac is getting the respect he deserves... The fact that Erik is past his best days is abvious..... But not even that takes away from Pacs win...

And so you know from A REAL HARD CORE ERIK FAN, would Erik have won it would have been his last Hurrah!! if one can call it that, cause hes been in one too many wars.....

I have just been here for more or less than one year and have been talking about boxing for almost all my life. It just happens that I just recently discovered this forum. But if you could just take a look at my posts since I started you won't be judging me that easily.

If you know me, you would have known that I am an avid boxing fan (no matter who is the person as long as he is a strong boxer). I love knock outs and have been Mike Tyson's fan way before (he was the only boxer I knew then maybe because I am still YOUNG).

There is no internet in our place and no TV. Newspapers would seldom touch my hands as I don't have money to buy one. You judging me as no real boxing fan is foul and I can't let it pass.

I am an avid fan of Barerra and even Morales. It simply changed when I found a countryman through Pacquaio who had dreadfully beaten and made the likes of BArerra and Morales look like rags.

Can you now blame me for lambasting excuses of Barrera and Morales' followers?If a boxer as great as Morales says he will fight and knockdown an opponent, I will take his word for it because I respect him. When fans give excuses for their idol's defeat, its shameful and improper.

This is an example of what I call a lame excuse. Hope everybody gets my point.True boxing fan should know the limitation of their idols and should accept them and recognize that there is a better warrior out there who would castigate their boy in the ring.

we should give PAC credit...he is one of the best and exciting fighters right now.

it is obvious though that Morales was past his prime. Just look at the first round when Morales was throwing punches. He looked like he had a lead in his legs.

Great point~ and dont forget JMM. JMM is considered as the top featherweight and pacman knocks his a** out 3 times in a round and that was only with his left hand and now hes got that right hook working as well. JMM basically survived with his boxing skills but pacman did get robbed by some dumb judges who couldnt count. MAB or JMM.. no chance against pacman. pacman right now is in another class of his own.

Funny..... In a poll done on ESPN.com after the JMM vs. PAC fight, the poll asked people who they thought won the fight and the poll closed at 61% for JMM & 39% for PAC.

There was really error in counting. Manny could have won by majority decision had one judge not made an error.

Pac has his respect from me! He has achieved great things in the last few years....I commend him for his performances. I do believe his first victory over Morales was worthier than this one though, but it was a fight that had to happen though...

I think PAc is getting his due here. To think that this site is dominated my EM,MAB,PBF and the likes, expecting love for the destroyer is tough enough. But PACs ferocious,explosive,extremely exciting charismatic nature "ala iron mike tyson in the ring" is undeniable and luckiky we have alot of members here who truly loves boxing, and are willing to accept the fact that it is PACs time now. Don't be bothered if some people don't agree with your feelings for pac, afterall, one can only be so good and yet; and still, you cannot please everyone in this world.

PAC is getting tons of respect, hearing Mario Lopez and that commentator from Top Rank make PAC sound like unbeatable which he isnt. Anyways if anybody feels he still doesnt get any respect or lack thereof once he beats Guzman and Valero I doubt that even Manny Steward would make any negative comment on PAC or give excuses why PAC is winning.

Thanks for the support Miles CC . Good to see someone has sense . Childish insults can be exchanged back and forth all day depending on how pedantic both parties are feeling , but nothings guna get solved that way . Some loser quoted me on the previous page and the_answer couldnt resist carrying on the argument on here . I said I wouldnt post again on the round by round thread and I intend to honour my word .
