Sturm wins by TKO against Gavin Topp in rnd 6...
Sturm won this one more or less easy...
Topp got a cut in rnd 5 over the right eye,but nothing really serious...
After winning the first 5 rnds,Sturm got a little trouble in rnd 6,seems that he was hurt a bit
even if I didn't see any serious hits from Topp,but Felix stopped punching back and only defended
himself,then after a counter by Sturm,both boxer clinched...the ref stopped the fight to let the
doc have a look at Topps eye and decided that the Australian couldn't go on...TKO in rnd 6 for
Sturm...
Audience didn't like the stoppage and was booing...
Seems that Sturm isn't over the loss against Castillejo...yet...

Sturm said that boxing is a tough business and that everyone,who is booing right now
maybe should try it himself...most of the audience applauded to that...
Topp agreed to the stoppage and wasn't unhappy with it and complimented Sturm...

Well....
These kind of belt exchanges are bound to happen every now & then in the lower div. just as long as it doesn't happen as often as it does in the Heavys. we'll be OK. 8)

this type of result just puts sturm down the drain to be honest! have you ever heard of this bloke before tonight? sum1 should end him quick!

Sturm was hurt? Seriously or just maybe a little stunned? Not a good sign if he was hurt since Topp only has 4 KO's in 20 wins, doesn't sound like much of a puncher.

It's really hard to say...fact is he stopped punching for a while in the 6th rnd, hid behind his gloves
and evaded Topps attacks...maybe he wanted to let Topp punch himself out...but it looked strange...

I cant believe this fight even happened. I thought Sturm was a high rated Middleweight??!?? Gavin Topp doesnt even rank in Australias rankings. That is an embarassment for Sturm for taking this fight. He could of fought Nader Hamden, Shannon Taylor, Daniel Dawson all are Aussies who would have put up a much better fight. Dawson would beat Sturm! ;D Why has Sturm never fought Soliman? Sam has called him out for a long time just like every other top ranked Middleweight??? ;)

Sturm is a great boxer,but he has a bad TKO loss to digest and also the recent death of his mother...
It takes time to be on top again,actually I was surprised that he already did fight again...
And before anyone says that if he is so great,why did he loose to Castillejo...That was because Sturm
tried to change his style to be more crowd-pleasing and was much more open than normal...
Sturm is a great boxer,but no fighter...
