Julio Cesar Chavez v Manny Pacquiao at say.. Super Featherweight

I thought this would be an interesting match up.

Julio Cesar Chavez v Manny Pacquiao at say Super Featherweight or the appropriate catch weight to even things out.

I understand we don’t yet know what Pacquiao will go onto achieve, but at this moment in time what do you think the outcome would be if these to met in a “DREAM FIGHT”.

I think at the lower weights it’s a tough one to call!

Good match up Pacman's relentlesness would be his end against Chavez (he wans't pound 4 pound king for years for just one reason) ;D Chavez's power would be too much for Pac but, there also is Pacs real fast hands but I still say Chavez he has solid power in both hands He is the Ko king imo ;D

Chavez also had a chin like a block of concrete - with this, he would take away Pac's weapons.

Could you just imagine these two sharing a ring together, what a fight it would be. I like Pac and I think he will go on to achieve great things, but I have to say I would go with Chavez on this one. I don’t think he would KO Pac, simply because I feel Pac has a huge heart and wouldn’t stay down.

I feel Pac would start of fast and explosive and maybe even rattle Chavez early on, but once Julio warmed up he would start to wear Pac down with lethal body shots and short hooks to the head with BOTH hands, I can even see Chavez catching Pac and sending him to the canvas in round 10 or 11, but Pac would get up and go the distance. It would be a close fight and I feel Pac would still show Chavez he’s dangerous in the latter rounds and although Chavez would be pushed to his limits he would finish strong.

It would be a war IMO and Chavez wins on points.

My scorecard would read 115 – 112 to Chavez.

JCC by late stoppage....Chavez would take Pac's best but as the bigger guy he'd hit back and do massive damage.

Salvador Sanchez-Pacquiao would be neat to consider as well

I'd have to go with JCC,one of the greatest chins ever,a huge heart and at his prime,an under rated defence too. Pac would try to war with Julio but I just don't see him getting the better of it. I'd say Chavez,late stoppage. JCC would go to the body when fighting Pac,and those devestating body shots would slow Manny down.

Are u people serious. PAC fans i know PAC is a good exciting fighter but come on Manny's stile is perfect for Chavez TKO 5 or 6 . The only fighter's that give Chavez trouble are guys with great boxing skills.

Pac could very well win with his fast hands and win decision thats not impossible but i just can't go against old Chavez in toe to toe brawl ;)

Pac is the faster fighter...but Chavez had a granite chin. In an all out brawl...it's hard to bet against Chavez.

i thought Chavez was awsome at super feather one of my favorite fighter to watch
