I would say one of the best guys to meet, is Richie Woodhall. Former wbc super middleweight champ, Richie is very knowledgeable about amateurs boxing and pro boxing. He is not full of him self very down to earth, and if you ever get the opportunity to talk to him. One of the soundest people you will meet. Who have you met and come across and what did you think of them ?

met danny williams at a shoping centre, me and a friend were talking about boxing when i spotted big dan, i pointed him out to my mate and danny heard us, he looked over nodded his head and walked over to us shaked our hands and we had a chat about boxing, he had his little baby in his hands i must say he was very pleasent friendly and in no way stuck up, a true nice guy.................his hands were massive and build like bricks, i've seen many boxers hands but dannys were like rocks
Nicest guys I have ever met in this sport are ( in no order) Gerry cooney, Arturo Gatti, Diego Corrales, David Tua, Ali, Archie Moore, DLH, Michael Spinks, Vinny Maddalone, Roy Jones..,.and about a dozen more those are some of my personal favorites..

The greatest fighter I have ever met was Archie Moorer. I was only a kid and I was told by numerous people that he was a little crazy and that he could just snap at anytime. I was very afraid but he was very nice. He lived just a couple of miles away and we would always drive past his house and awww at his boxing glove shape swimming pool which was visible from the highway.

Jorge 'El Maromero' Paez @ Hometown Buffet (restaurant) funny as shet!! from that crazy bastard we talked about the food there and about Mexicali where hes from and where I partially grew up (And where my mom is from).
Francisco 'Panchito' Bojado @ Toys 'R Us (toy store) talked a little about his previous fight at that time Lemuel Nelson and his plan to re-match Rubio.
Raul 'El Diamante' Marquez @ Pechanga Resort & Casino the restroom has 2 doors to walk in and out I walked out of one, he walked out the other I was gonna shake his hand and then realised we had just walked out of the restroom. :-\ talked about how he landed the commentator gig with NBC.
Armando 'El Hombre' Muniz in the apt. where I used to live, his brother (Armandos) was my neighbor there, good laughs and met him several times at BBQ's very good ring stories...
I met Mr. T, (CLubber Lang) , Sechew Powell ( didnt really talk to him cuz he just lossed to Ouma and was extremely pissed) Paullie Maliigningi, And Kassim Ouma, I yeh and me and Larry Merchant had some sexual episodes ;D

When I interviewed Oliver McCall he threw a fit because I called him Oliver lol...He told me top call him Mr. McCall of course this only encouraged me to keep calling him Oliver....Halfway through the interview I got brave and called him Ollie...I thought hye would shit but he just started laughing...
Casamayor was another ass full of himself...
The absolute biggest jerk I ever met was Charles Brewster...I walked away from him halfway through the conversation

well, have only met a couple but i would have to say gatti is probably one of the most likeable boxers you will ever meet. i used to work at a club in vero that he would go to just about every friday night when he was in town training. very down to earth guy, if you don't follow boxing you would never know he was anybody. he doesn't do anything to call attention to himself. if you ever see him out somewhere don't be afraid to say hi to him, he'll talk to ya like an old friend. also know mike marrone pretty well. nice kid, very likeable. lou duva's great. also have met tarver. he's an alright guy.
