As I've been always saying here, if there is anyone who can beat Pac today, it might be Valero. This is definitely the guy to watch.

CC bro,AWESOME read. I love Valero but you hear how great he sounds in sparring,I wish he showed his skills in an actual fight rather than trying to KTFo everyone! I am SOOOO HAPPY his trainer said they will not fight Pacman, not in 2007 anyway. I hope,1 day,V Nom/El Inca is the man to KTFO Pac!!! ;D
CC to you, brod. When I saw the #1 on the reply, I knew it was you El Gamo cuz you're about the only one here who answers my threads, haha. Thanx for not making me look like a fool here, though I kinda got used to it so I'll still be starting some thread once in a while even though shy members here don't reply, at least they view them. I'll only stop when I come up with 10 consecutive threads with no reply and NO VIEW!. Then, I'll be sure I'm talking nonsense.
Bro,it's not like that at all, you're well respected and liked here!! I have posted MANY threads where no one responds,it does not mean anything at all! It's an awesome read. What did you think about it?Quote:

It's hard to put a good man down I guess :)
I keep hearing from everyone that Valero looks great in his sparring session...but...I hate to say this...especially for his fans...but IWO...he looks like shit in several of his fights...& that's all I have seen...just a handful of fights.Quote:

I like my fighters to be either great defensively or either more of a complete package.
He fights Pacquiao...he'll get exposed...even though I have often considered Pac as being a bit of a one dimensional fighter.
Pac has improved of late though...maybe Valero can too.
GREAT point Wacko. Valero Indeed is the greatest threat to PAC IMO. A raw Valero is deadly I can just imagine what a refined one would do.Quote:

Work these bwoys in some more sparring sessions with Valero paired with JMM & then Miranda with Wright & all that coal turns to diamonds.
You just made the PERFECT fighter Wacko!!! CC to you again tomorrow Bro ;)
With Winky's defense you just made them PERFECT!!!
Yep. I was thinking that meself.Quote:

That being said...the same goes for Valero coupled with JMM's countering abilities.
Hell of a blend huh?
Like I said earlier,I agree,I think Valero look far far too wild and sloppy in fights and what makes that dissappoiting is the fact he looks so polished in sparring. When you see the guy blocking Morales shots and landing 3-4hit combos on Morales, you#re impressed. When he almost KTFO Ubano Antillon in sparring(he hurt the kid so bad the session had to be stopped),you realise his power. When you see him sparring with Lazcano(who never came back and left alll his things@Valero's camp) and when he spars with the bigger of the Santa Cruz brothers and he is using foot movement to outbox them, and then backing them up with his power, you're impressed...and then he fights like a wildman!!!
I just hope this move to Japan helps him.
Wow. Then Pac must watch this guy. This guy must be a real contender.
So it just takes an El Gamo's to start the thread going heh, alright then, you'll hired! Gamo. We'll talk about the pay later.
Ya I'll have toagree with almost everyone here that Valero may be too raw for Pac for now, though I have to admit I haven't seen any of his fight. I really wanted to see the Mosquerra fight but with my dial-up, I just don't have the patience to download anything above 50megs. I'm pretty good analyzing when I see a fight, though. Even if they say he knocked out some cab drivers, a record-breaking one-round ko's are simply awesome by any standard and can't just be ignored. And to think that Pac's chin is not among the best, that's scary. Maybe the big question is if Valero can improve and be a decent technical boxer. I have my doubts though primarily because training in Japan may not be the best thing to do for him. 1st, I think they don't have enough good sparring partners there (the last I've heard is that he was sparring one of our boy Suico - geeze, he's a slow robot!), and 2nd, Japanese training method may not be the best for him. I'm familiar with Japanese boxing and when it comes to training, Japanese are pretty much orthodox in their style. So how far Valero goes remains to be seen. I'd really love to see Valero becoming a really great fighter and ultimately fighting Pac in a big, hyped-up match seen in all over the world, and of course...win. Who else is there in the future?
All right, I've given everyone here my CC. ;)
Admittedly...I aint that big on Valero right now...but I'm just curious...why Japan?Quote:

valero is raw. pac is in his prime. thats it
bring on MAB or JMM. guzman aint worth the talk
P.S.
give me my 5Oth CC pacfan
i may well be the most loyal pacquiao fan in here ;D
next to you ;)
Ok you just got it. But what's that 40+ SC's, you gotta start behaving, pal, haha. ;) Yes I may be the most loyal Pac fan, but a critical one at that. I'm not a fan who completely ignore or be blind to my boy's flaws and start telling everyone here that he's a superman, though he's quickly becoming one. ;D
Which is one of the main reasons that I can't :coolclick: you for another 24 hours.Quote:

pac aint superman. i just like him. love him. ever since he fought
larios i got extremely hooked. i dont know whats special with that fight
i just cant figure it out. but it makes me feel good im not the only one bewildered ;D
Hey pacfan, you're a Pinoy right? So pre, where are you from the Philippines?
He was actually 'boxing' Larios and I've got a strong feeling that he was actually practicing his 'boxing' skills. He had no urge to ko him cuz he even went to touch gloves after each knockdowns. I've noticed in the Grand Finale, he was actually couterpunching Morales, darting in and out - out when Morales attacked and in immediately after that for the attack. His defense definitely improved cuz he got hit less in that fight than any of his other major fights. I can recall only once he was hit badly by a combo, I think on the third round right before or after second kd. This is what many failed to appreciate. Although I may sound like a real pacfan-atic but Pac is fast turning into a complete boxer.Quote:

valero has great potentials but is far from ready to face the pacman. even his handlers think he needs 2 to 3 more fights before facing manny. another problem for him is that he couldn't get licensed to fight in the u.s. cos of the head injury he sustained in a motorcycle accident.
i think the fighter with the biggest potential to give manny problems is joan guzman... if only he has more pop in his punches. honestly, i don't think there's anybody at 130lbs right now who can beat pacquiao.
Ya I guess that's what most fans are like, mostly blind on their man's own flaws but always magnifying the smallest of flaws of the opponents'. That's why I try to avoid getting involved too much when the discussion turns into purely fans' tug-o-war. That's why you hardly see my name on those P4P threads or if 'this guy who fought years ago' fight Pac, who wins kinda threads. But ya know, I love it when fans get all fired-up though, as long as they don't go into name-callings - they're lovely 'sights.' hehe.Quote:

CC Pacfan bro. And I admit,I find alot of Manny fans annoying but you guys posting here are great, not too biased but defend your favourite fighter reasonably. I agree KK,I don't see anyone beating Manny at the moment but he still needs to go out and prove he is the best by beating MAB/JMM and may be Guzman or another name. There are so many great fights to be made,he should not rest on his laurels, and by the end of this sequence,he will have even more $$$ and may be even more fans and respect. I just sincerely hope that this lawsuite is sorted out asap,I would not want anything to stop Pac from performing,he's great to watch and a real asset to boxing.
Thanx. Almost forgot, CC to you kkizza and mutt. ;)
Thanx El Gamo, I owe you a lot on this one. Did you see that, this thread was practically a 'dead thread' before you revived it and now it's 3 pages long! Can't believe it. You deserve 5 CC's for this one so I'll give you one everytime I come here. :D :D ;)
LOL.,bro,it was nothing to do with me,may be people did not see it before! And you practically CC me everytime you are online so I appreciate it! And I cc you everytime too, great poster, keeep them coming! What do you think of Guzman bro?Quote:

I've noticed his biggest weapon is his hook, they're very stiff but the big problem is they're also very short, so it will be effective only on the inside. It will work against fighters like Juarez who likes to fight on the inside but not on Manny who likes to fight from the outside. That's why I want to see him fight Juarez more than Manny. He just got to develop a very strong jab or straight. Without it, I think he won't be able to keep Manny away for long and you know what that means.
Very good analysis bro,I said similar things when I was asked about Guzman v Pac although your analysis is more in depth! Guzman may very well have a great defence but that alone will not help you survive the savage onslaught of the Pac man! Yeah, bro,I said exactly the same thing,I said Guzman should fight Jaurez or Soto if he can't get the big fight he craves!Quote:

i agree i think valero is alot like miranda tremendous power but needs to tighten up on defence. if valero can do this i can see him givin pac problems and if not my friends night night valero.
